the phone is standard slow but if you root it and overclock it too 600mhz with a custom rom is a very fast phone (i ve done it)
The design is great, it does have a radio. However the battery life is poor since it doesn't close applications when you exit them, they keep running in the backround, you do get Task killers that you can download from android Market.
Nice...very nice and for only 100€ here in Greece.
Value for money phone with best specs
Decided against it. V945 out now. I think Vodaphone has realized the shorcomings and upgraded it into the 945

I have one of these too , i've never been happier with a phone os but alas the battery life is dismal.
I just got myself a car charger and a desktop charger solved the problem.
Hi VF 845 users, What is your experience on its battery life? Mine hardly lasts a day. Could the issue be my battery or is some one else having the same problem
The guy from meru who couldnt get help from safcom customer care try typing these from your browser and download the install
These are not the std android apps, they are third party apps but they will still offer the android apps experience currently lacking in the kenyan market.
you will have to check phone settings-applications-unknown sources and highlight.
also safaricom live has some apps
i liked this phone cause i buy it and i use it
but am still in love with nokia n900 all i need i found in n900 but bad battery
the vodafone phone is not bad but after using the n900
i feel the different
There is a gaffe in the specs, it says it has no radio, but it does!!!! THERE IS FM RADIO!
Should I buy it. Can't afford SE X10 Mini Pro. Other option is old Samsung Star. Not a fan of LG/Nokia or Samsung. Is Vodaphone a reliable brand? Current phone is SE W850i, so I don't mind if screen resolution is not top class. Features sound good value for money. Pity no full review on GSM Arena.
