This week Huawei unwrapped the Mate 30 series. The Mate 30 Pro, Mate 30 and Porsche Design Mate 30 RS are packed to the brim with the very best hardware but are limited to a Google Service-deprived Android. It's also unclear which markets are going to get the new Mate 30 devices. China buyers will be able to unbox their new Mate 30 and 30 Pro on September 28 with global sales potentially lined up for October.
vivo introduced the NEX 3 5G with a Snapdragon 855+ and, because it came two days before the Mate 30 PRo, the first Waterfall Display.

The final big story is the new battery on the iPhone 11 Pro Max. The iPhone XS Max successor has a 3,969mAh battery - a 25% increase over its predecessor.
