Welcome to another week's recap. Samsung published the reparability score of its as-of-yet-unannounced Galaxy A54 and it's a solid 8.4 out of 10. Great news for the many potential buyers of Samsung's bound-to-be-popular midranger.
Even better news is the reported return of the Samsung Fan Edition phone. By Korean outlet The Elec, it appears Samsung will unveil a Galaxy S23 FE edition in the second half of the year. The report claims that Samsung will forgo the Galaxy A74 and focus on the Galaxy S23 FE.
We got our first look at the iPhone 15 Pro thanks to leaked CAD schematics. They show a phone that's slightly curvier with rounded edges that are cut-flat on the current models. The renders show thinner screen bezels and a USB-C port - finally! Of course, these are just leaked renders that may not reflect the final result.
Back to Samsung. The company had record pre-order numbers in its home market of South Korea. According to the numbers, Samsung received 1.09 million pre-orders - up 7% over the Galaxy S22 series last year. That's only ever bested by the Galaxy Note10 family back in 2019 with 1.4 million pre-orders. Even better for Samsung, the Galaxy S23 Ultra accounted for 60% of all orders.
Oppo launched the Find N2 Flip on a global scale this week. Now buyers in Europe can go ahead and pre-order the flip-foldable in 8/256GB trim. Shipments will begin from March 2 onward.
