Xiaomi Android Rumors

Xiaomi's Mobile Product Manager recently teased a new smartphone is on the way and now evidence is mounting that it might be the Xiaomi Civi 2 - a successor to Xiaomi Civi that launched exactly one year ago.

Xiaomi Civi 2 reportedly coming this month with Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip

Reports indicate that the Civi 2 will be ready to go live as early as this month and will sport the brand new Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. For reference, the Civi had a Snapdragon 778G on board, so it checks out. The handset already passed China's 3C authority with model number 2209129SC.

A Chinese tipster revealed the phone will sport a 6.56-inch OLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate, up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. A 4,500mAh battery will keep the lights on with support for 67W fast charging.

The device will offer 50MP OIS-aided main camera, 8MP ultrawide camera and 2MP shooter, likely for macro photography.

Yeah. Not sure if the battery life would be much better though. The Oppo Reno 8 pro with snapdragon 7 gen 1 doesn't seem to have that great battery life. It may not be great as Samsung manufactured chips generally haven't been as battery ef...

it could cost less with SD 7g1 while having almost same performance and much better battery life, even for same price I'd still prefer newer SoC with not noticable performance decrease but significantly better battery life
