Xiaomi Android

Yesterday we saw Realme announcing a new variant of its flagship phone with 256 GB storage and today Xiaomi followed with the very same message - the Mi 9 will have an 8/256 GB option. It will hit the stores tomorrow and will cost CNY3,299 ($467/€417). First adopters will receive a 20W wireless charger as a gift that costs CNY99 (about $15), if purchased separately.

The new RAM+storage combination is the fourth different - up until now the Mi 9 can be purchased with 6/64 GB, 6/128 GB, or 8/128 GB memory, with the first one missing from China. If you wanted 256 gigs of storage, the only option until today was the Mi 9 Explorer with a fancy design of the back panel that reveals what is on the inside of the phone.

You can buy/pre-order the Mi 9 from all major Chinese retailers and from the company’s website. You’ll get all latest and finest flagship specs like Snapdragon 855, 48 MP camera with Sony IMX586 sensor and 27W fast charging (or 20W, if you are a fan of wireless charging). It is already listed in all three pretty colors - Lavender Violet, Ocean Blue, Piano Black.

My advice to anyone interested in getting this, go for Mi 9t or soon to be released Mi 9t pro. Will save some bucks for sure!

Considering it doesn't have micro SD support it should have launched with this option
