Phone dont have that much battery to make such big 4K video.
Unless you record it with powerbank docked in charging port.
But still to me 256GB is more than enough.
On a 6 inch screen the 4k video makes no sense it will looks alike like 2k or 1024p video no difference at all unless you use big TV 50 inch or something like that to preview it.
My moto X4 have 64GB disk space and i have like 25% free after 2 years of use.
Me, 24 Feb 2020As a new Xiaomi user I would say their software support is the worst between all other brands.... moreHmmm I have Mi 9T which has February patch and Android 10. Have been using Xiaomi from 2015 (I think MIUI 8) and always received security patches every month.
Harnis , 27 Feb 2020Hi. How does Xiaomi do the android upgrades? Are they like Samsung? Thank you Just check their website and see their latest stable version of android for their flagships like Mi9. We usually recieve updates every 4 to 5 months. Unless you are a teenager with too much free time to unlock your phone and get involved with development process to recieve BETA!! updates.

Why would Chinese phone-makers make 5G phones supporting mmWave? No markets targeted by Chinese phone-makers are using mmWave or plan to use mmWave. At this point, mmWave plays no role in driving the 5G market.
Nuno, 28 Feb 2020Yup, unfortunately thats a problem with all recently releases Chinese phones.
it's really a s... moreSimply not true, all 865 chip phones support all types of 5G networks, it's only the 765 chip which doesn't....
Also, why does mmwaves matter right now? Those are shit at the moment, and no country on earth is covered by it.... if lucky you can find a square or two on your whole country, where there is mmwaves in a small radius.
You clearly rant over shit you don't even understand.
AnonD-731363, 26 Feb 2020It have stereo. So, half an hour of video. Unless it gets encoded to some smaller size files, but that wouldn't be of so good quality probably, great quality HEVC 10-bit encoding takes time.
Patches mi note 10pro
Anonymous, 20 Feb 2020Unfortunately 5g mmwave not supportedYup, unfortunately thats a problem with all recently releases Chinese phones.
it's really a shame.
All this rush to deliver to see who delivers a 5g phone first... and then, complete shit.
Harnis , 27 Feb 2020Hi. How does Xiaomi do the android upgrades? Are they like Samsung? Thank you Xiaomi has the best update reputation in the mobile industry. Regular monthly updates for years.
Hi.
How does Xiaomi do the android upgrades?
Are they like Samsung?
Thank you
People rant about SD card not being available. I really know its important to many folks. but i am not a fan of SD cards. I used to be a huge fan in tye past but i realised over time that it will cost you more koney in the long run. So i don't even look at that anymore
Anonymous, 24 Feb 2020Yep. The Mi Note 10 has not see a security update since December. It released with Android... moreWhat you need to understand is there are 2 ways to update your phone. Either beta rom or stable. Stable ROMs are updated either 1 or 2 months and beta rom are also weekly and also have advantages of receiving new features and security updates. Also new phones take time before it receives updates. So check at the forum and see if there is update for your phone and update it
Me, 26 Feb 2020What do you recieve as being a fanboy? Do companies pay you to publish false informations? ... moreThose who are shouting are children and will continue to be children in tech. This is why xiaomi allow users to unlock their phones and do whatever they want with it. If you can't stay with miui it's better you install custom rom or sell your phone and buy another phone from other brands. My mi 9 is stable even on beta rom with February security patch. You too don't spread information you don't know. Xiaomi is doing good when it comes to software update than any other company

Me, 26 Feb 2020What do you recieve as being a fanboy? Do companies pay you to publish false informations?
... moreKindly check other brands before bashing about security update.
The latest is indeed December 2019 on my Samsung note 8. For new model and OS probably there is new version but if samsung can leave their phone at such patch version, I do not see why Xiaomi is at fault at doing so.
Asen, 30 Jan 2020no sd card, no waterproof, no stereo speaker. No thanks It have stereo.
SD card is uselless 256 or 512GB is far more than anyone woud need and you can use cloudstorage as well.
IP resistance is useless it wont cover your warranty.
When your phone drowns you have to pay expensive repair.
Hanif Fikri, 22 Feb 2020XIaomi please removes your ads in your Mi Apps(VIdeo Player, FIle Manager, Music player, etc) ... moreyou can remove those bloatwares with adb
iliyan, 24 Feb 2020when we could expect this device in Europe ?good question haha
Ewiase, 24 Feb 2020It's totally a lie. I have been a xiaomi user since 2016 and their software update is far the ... moreWhat do you recieve as being a fanboy? Do companies pay you to publish false informations?
Right now on 26/02/2020 based on Xiaomi's own website their latest global stable version is V11.0.3.0.QFAMIXM that is exactley what is installed on my phone. That means my phone security patch goes back to 01/11/2019. Even on their own cummunity and forums everybody is shouting about their late updates. They haven't update their OS last time for around 5 months before latest android version. I like their OS design and theme capabilities, but bugs stay through their platform forever because of their late updates.
FYI I have Xiaomi mi9 too. :-)
FlightcranK, 14 Feb 2020Geekbench seems not to have the 12GB RAM Version in favour of the 8GB one. Results are almost ... moreApplication doesn't, but applications does... Look if you, for example keep all your social networks in background to get notified asap and you run let's say asphalt... Someone send you message on WhatsApp, you read it and reply, back to asphalt = reload. More ram prevent apps from it.
