Xiaomi Android Rumors

Xiaomi’s flagship Mi 9 came out last February and since then we’ve seen several variations which included a compact Mi 9 SE and the slightly upgraded Mi 9 Pro. Now, the company’s co-founder and president Lin Bin confirmed that the next flagship Mi phone is also on the horizon.

In a comment under a post about the Mi 9 Pro, Lin Bin replied to a fan saying that the upcoming Mi 10 Pro will in fact be the successor to the Mi 9 Pro. While there is still no other info on the next Mi flagship, this is the first official confirmation we’ve seen.

In related news, the Xiaomi Mi 9 was removed from the company’s official site in China which is another indication that we are nearing the launch of its successor. For now, the only rumors we’ve seen about the Mi 10 line, suggest the devices will pack the Snapdragon 865 SoC, alongside 108MP primary cameras and Android 10 with MIUI 11. We also saw a Chinese certification recently which detailed two upcoming devices that will support 66W fast charging. We'll update you when we have more information on them.

lol, how much is your average ram usage and how long you're going to keep this phone (assuming you even plan to buy this)?

How ignorant are you. Desktops struggle to hit playable framerates in yuzu yet you think a cruddy SD865 mobile SoC will do the trick. And that's ignoring the fact that you somehow think yuzu is ever coming to mobile in this phone's lifespan.

Oh yeah really. Because that SD865 is totally gonna be useful in half a decade when 16 gigs actually becomes the standard. That's like the equivalent of thinking a galaxy s5 would've been future proofed for 2019 if it just came with 8 gigs of ram. Ho...
