But you have to tune it to make it workable in anywhere except China. Xiaomi.eu rom is already modified, doesn't need much tuning but slightly weaker than China rom.

I would like to buy this Mi 10 Ultra but I am undecided between the original china ROM and the Xiaomi.EU one
I would not like to find myself wrong with the English language alone (I only know English at school level) but on the other hand it seems that the European ROM lacks something compared to china.
Could you tell me the pros and cons of the two ROMs and which one would you recommend?

Anonymous, 05 Sep 2021Just set it to No restriction and enable autostart Yes. I did it. And it was same... No notification sound and no notification on lockscreen as well. Had factory reset 2 times and hard reset 1 time. Clear all cache. Does nothing. All same. Emailed to mi.global. Told me to wait for new update. There is nothing can do now. Switch back to samsung note 10 plus now..

Mine are stable rom on miui 12.5.5. whatsapp and telegram facing a lot of bugs. Whatsapp audio not receiving. Need restart phone. Telegram picture and audio same problem. Not receiving. Need restart the phone. It's so annoying that WhatsApp and telegram i use more on my works. But now it's make the miui so so bad. I had other phone which is Samsung Note 10 plus. Everything was perfect on OneUi

Mi 10 Ultra's camera solution is actually still unique because Ov48c sensor outputs real Bayer resolution in 48mp. This paired with Google Camera produces absolutely stunning results, In par with proper APS-C cameras. Most other phone manufacturers use Quad Bayer sensors that doesn't produce that much detail even in full resolution modes. Even the new Mi 11 Ultra seems inferior.

Martines23, 12 Jul 2021Is mi 10 ultra worth buying as of July/21? I mean, is there any other phone that could be a be... moreI'd say so. I'm happy with my Mi 10 Ultra and it's still better in a lot of ways than phones released this year. Especially the camera.
The software is a bit screwy so if you have a low tolerance for things like that, I'd avoid it. Even on the xiaomi.eu ROM it still acts weird in a couple ways compared to every other Android phone I've had. But personally it doesn't bother me too much. Just wish it had more custom ROMs like something built from the ground up.

Otherwise,... moreI had mi 9 and it came with 40watts charger but I noticed that the battery life kept decreasing after few months, so after changing the battery I used 20 watts charger and that stopped but few weeks ago I traded it for OnePlus 7pro because I hate the buddy MIUI 12

For example, I will definitely buy the next phone with Chinese version of Android. Because my country's government has been jeopardizing my privacy. According to them, "Right to Privacy" is not absolute. They have been at war with Twitter for not deleting post critical of them. Now they want to end WhatsApp's "end-to-end encryption" to trace the messages. And might force smartphone vendors to collect and send user data in future.
And quite frankly, I'd rather rest my data with Chinese government than my own government.

Otherwise, people would have charging phones like Mi 10 Ultra at 120W using a cheap 10W brick.

Is it possible to use a charger with a much slower charging rate? I'm not that interested in using the 120W charging rate. I found 45W is already fast enough for quick charging. So if I use 45W charger for this phone, the charging will not go any further than 45W, right?

1. EU Rom done by xiaomi.eu folks
2. Install google services. There is a guide/wiki in xiaomi reddit.
Read and elucidate yourself before proceeding with any of the option.
