but if you unlocked your bootloader, you can flash another mi10 Ultra rom, like eu or gr.
I'm using it and it really good.

This device should have just been released in Transparent edition, it would have made it more special to own. I am still on a lookout to buy one in the used market but no luck so far.

I hope this doesnt mean that IP protection doesnt mean "nano coating" against water ingression... or is it ?
if so.. it means it will wear out after a while.. and if so, it doesnt mean much a thing at all..
i did shallow water wildlife photography with m51.. it was not bad.. I must add I am stunned by its macro feature.. it totally changed my mind about macro.. its a must for me now.. : /
but I dont know if it can be added to those new cameras in the new upcoming models.. Hopefully in the near future an ultra model of 12 or such will have it along with IP68.. and hi speed fps video recording.. its like an amateur mobile photography studio..

I cant believe such monsters can be without IP protecti... moreIt has some water protection for sure,it has the rubber gaschet on the sim tray if you look for it ...but they didnt want to pay for the certification...
Anyway ... I consider the IP rating only for accidental drops into the water...I never take my phones into the pool to take pictures under the water for fun...

My Note 10 Lite without the tiniest protection proved to be dust and splash resistant. A Shamesung with high IP rating died from some water dipping, while advertised to stand underwater for 30 mins at 1m at least.
It is not a deciding factor,but a nice thing to have only.

I've owned the Mi 10 Ultra since August 2020. I had it imported to the UK from China and I've installed MIUI EU rom. Just wanted to say I've been very happy with the phone
