Does anyone who has this phone have the same speaker grill. It's like the holes on the left side are covered whereas the rest are not.
Is that the same with other people's models?
this or poco x3
Hi.
I have a question to ask. Is dimming around the side and camera hole normal? Its only really noticeable on a white background.
You guys haven't uploaded a video in weeks, I'm really looking forward to your video review on the mi10t lite and others...
JohnnyG, 03 Nov 2020Are you kidding, LCD better than AMOLED ??! It seems that you are stuck with the LCD display f... moreListen chill out it is all a matter of opinion,AMOLED or LCD whatever is better is opinion not actual fact. Stop having a go at people just because they like something better. I have the Mi 10 T Pro and trust me the LCD on that phone is stunning, bright, sharp and very saturated and even viewing angles are excellent. Xiaomi did an excellent job with it. Yeah blacks aren't as deep as AMOLEd blah blah blah but that does not matter to many people, who cars it's just a screen
Martin, 28 Nov 2020Can sombody confirm, does this phone have FM radio? Yes - it has an FM Radio app. You need to plug in wired headphones to use it though.
At Banggood.....why is the the 6GB 128GB Global EU version of this phone $5 cheaper than the 6GB 64GB version of the same phone? Also, the 64GB are sold out....the 128GB are not.
Does it have a notification LED?
Is it splash proof or IP53 like the poco X3?
Which one has better camera, the poco X3 or Mi 10t lite?
Thanks
I've been using this phone for just 1 week and, so far, I'm very happy with it.
Xiaomi has been crushing it from their very beginnings not so long ago, but with this Mi 10t Lite they have exceeded my expectations. Honestly, this is as good as it gets in this price range: large battery, high display refresh rate, powerful yet energy efficient CPU, 6Gb RAM (which is more than enough), 64Gb storage + microSD slot, USB-C ultra-fast 33w charge (charger included), finger print and face recognition unlock function, Gorilla glass front and back, 3.5mm audio jack, NFC, Bluetooth, IR blaster and, yes indeed, 5G, which is crazy for a 200 GBP phone. It also support voLTE and voWiFi, which was something very important for me. The overall materials and body finish are excellent. Really feels premium in your hand and it also looks the part. Mine is "pearl grey", which is dark grey with a blue-ish hue to it. Silicone case included, and a screen protection sheet is preinstalled for extra protection.
Should we just wait for the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G since it's basically the same phone and will probably be cheaper?
Bought it 2 days ago, liked it, excellent screen, 5g, good performance and battery life, ir blaster,3.5mm audio, stereo speakers, notification led, hard to compare with others at this price level.

I understand now regarding the difference between the LCD display and Eink.
I was hoping that the paper mode 3.0 in miui 12 could offer a somewhat alternative, as this would be really handy. Carrying one device that you use for all media and reading consumption.
Please do let me know how you get on with the Mi 10t Lite once you receive it. It would be great to hear your feedback, especially on the paper mode.
Thank you!
Xoso1, 26 Nov 2020Can someone please please please confirm a few things for me before I purchase this phone: ... moreI've just ordered this phone so not tested yet. But I have a kindle. The technology is different. E-ink changes the display once and doesn't emit light all the time. This is an LCD display (not even amoled). So presume they are reducing brightness down - just like my monitor does on reading mode. This is better for your eyes. But nothing can replace e-ink where it is reflecting light from other sources (like how a newspaper does) to your eyes, rather than generating its own back light direct into your eyes.
Can anybody help me.. Which is better between mi 10t lite5g and redmi note 9pro5g. I see no difference apart from rear camera.
Planning to buy one of this phone soon. TIA
Can sombody confirm, does this phone have FM radio?
Xoso1, 26 Nov 2020Can someone please please please confirm a few things for me before I purchase this phone: ... morewired / loud ? No. None of the earbuds I own make a sound that I consider loud or justifies the Android volume warning. I don't own any none powered headphones. I have a selection of powered headphones with silence suppression; volume is better.
Can someone please please please confirm a few things for me before I purchase this phone:
The reading mode 3.0 - How effective is it? Are you able to really tint the screen where it impacts the display enough to reduce eye strain in the evenings?
The paper mode - How effective is it when compared to a kindle/Ereader? Can it be used to effectively replace a kindle/ereader permanently???
The headphone jack sound volume (Wired) - It it loud? Or just ok? Can you really crank up the volume to high levels?
Your feedback would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank you!!!
This phone says it charges at 33W, mine does not. Anyone have clues to what it is doing ? It ships with a power supply labelled 27W @ 9V and 33W @ 11V. The cable is active, but I don't know what it does, is a 4 pin USB-A connector at the charger, but only supports turbo with the supplied cable. The phone states it supports PD, a digital protocol; I don't find anything at a sensible consumer price to sniff PD. Most(/all?) of the chargers I have labelled PD are quite happy to output qualcomm 2 and some 3, an analogue protocol. QC3 changes the D voltages quickly & again nothing in my toy box that monitors the D voltages at a few 100 ms resolution. Peak I have seen is 27W with the supplied charger/cable. Everything else I have tried is 15-18W range max.
