nice phone but need a small upgrade

My Mi 11 died completely last week. Suddenly hangs and can't turn on. I took it to an official Xiaomi service center. At first the technician said that one of the batteries was not charging. I thought the problem was solved, but when I tried to restore the data backup, the phone suddenly restarted many times. Finally, the technician concluded that there was a manufacturing defect in the machine and would be given a replacement for a new unit. But a day later I was told that I would not accept a replacement but a refund. I am very disappointed because I bought the cellphone at the beginning of the launch and became my daily driver for more than 4 months. Now I don't know what phone to replace it with because Mi 11 is out of stock.

Mi 11 has heating issue and draining battery fast issues. Otherwise it is a good phone if you can endure one of worst user interface (MIUI).

Does it still overheat? I don't play much, I just like the display of this phone. Will the battery last a whole day? I am still torn if I'll choose Mi 10s, Mi 11 or Oppo Reno 6 Pro+.

Why there are mixed opinions on this phone? I don't get it. Some people still have May updates even though Xiaomi released Mi UI 12.5 and apparently it fixed a lot of issues, including overheating. I'm kinda lost about this phone, and very unsure if I want to get it, even though I like it by the looks of it.
I am not playing Pubg, COD. I played sometimes GTA: San Andreas on my Sony Xperia XZ3, but mostly I use my smartphone for Instagram, Google Maps, Emailing, Photos/Videos and other less important apps I use. I don't even use Facebook app lol. Is this phone good for everyday use?
If Xiaomi Redmi had wireless charging I would buy it already, but they don't unfortunately.

Junk device. Battery sucks. Weak back glass broke dropped the phone a feet. Stay clear of this junk.

3 weeks since i bought it and i must say that i really don't like this phone. Camera is the only good thing on it. I mean, it's august and i have may security patches and my old Lg Velvet is on july, is that even possible? Battery life is not ok, less than 12h if u use it, maybe more if u put it away and don't touch it, of course with 60 HZ and 1080p resolution. Even in my hand it's just not that. Software is worsle than lg with updates, and how is that even possible...

I've been using my mi 11 for a month so far, and i love it! It is very fast and minimalist, Only problems i have are the battery drain and the screen curvature. other than that, it's a great phone, I would recommend 100%.

Just picked this over the Oppo Find x3 Pro, and I'm really glad I did. The screen is a beautiful AMOLED and the 120hz really does shine with the software. Having come from a Pixel, I was used to having really great cameras, and the Mi 11 didn't disappoint either. I'd wholeheartedly recommend this device to anyone looking for an upgrade from a 2019/2020 model of phone.
