Motherboard is fried, screen flickers when browsing, camera stutters when recording in 8k on a 6x zoom, heating issues (that lead to irresponsive physical buttons). The camera is great tho

I have no idea what you guys do to your phones but my Xiaomi's always last 5+ years each both personal and work phones.
This is the best phone I've ever had hands down. Better than the entire 12 series.
Probably just looks like everybody has a bad phone because everybody who's phone broke posted here.
It's all a matter of taking care of your phone both software and hardware.
After you stop getting updates you can get the official Xiaomi EU ROM, I'm currently on MIUI 14 Android 13 and it's got amazing performance.
It's got no ads and it's 100% official Xiaomi Approved.
Why be stuck on Android 11 if you bought a phone that can be unlocked as one of it's main features? such a waste.
Like, you can just keep buying a 1000$+ Iphone every year that you can't mod/fix/root it's up to you.

Before I had 12+3GB RAM but in new MIUI you can go 12+7.
It takes some brain to figure out but it's worth it. Phone companies make money off lazy and technophobic people not knowing their phone's capabilities and buying a new one every year.

Anonymous, 19 Feb 2023After 1.5 years, my mi 11 is not turning on anymore. I'm not buying Xiaomi ever again. Perhaps it's due to the horrendous inferno of a Samsung chipset. 😂 Probably melted its own soldering like with the old LG G4, V10 and V20.
Do your research next time.

avoid trouble ..no matter how optimized os with crap cpu it will always crap...get mi 12t or mi 12 Miles ahead than this crap
