There is a bug of sound distortion during video recording v5.....so anyone whose using v6 can kindly confirm that whether the bug has been resolved in miui 6 or not...

Recently i dropped my phone in water.. I soon realizee that the vibrator stopped working.. And i had practically no hopes that it'll ever get repaired.. I am from a small town-bareilly(UP) & to my surprise they have a service center even here now.i walked up to the service centre n they told me to deposit my bill copy and that my part will need a week to come. I had a trip coming to delhi. So i went to a service centre at janakpuri,n dey told clearly that if its just the vibrator problem, dey need 24hrs for repair. Now since i dint have those 24hrs also,i dint give it for repair. When i came back to bareilly,dey told they already recieved my part & they chkd my phone. Thou d new vibrator also dint work. So they diagnosed it as a problem from motherboard. They took the complaint again n it took them 5 more days to get it fixed. Right nw,my phone is repairs d,in a total time period of 12 days,and i claim it as "Not bad".. I previously owned samsaung,nokia,micromax brands & whenever i needed some service,it was no prompt & better then this. To me,der services were reasonable & if they provide this kind of service,i am as a customer very happy..
N btw,mi3 users-v6 miui is -" Beautiful " to use.. Its a lovely interface u'll fall in love with.. So pls update ur handsets OTA..
hi guys i bought mi3 5 months ago till now my phone is good but two days ago i updated it with nwe miui6 after that touch of my phone is in problem it became hard and sometimes it is working automatically please help me to fix it....
I purchased Xiomi Redmi 1S in Nov 2014 in India . The item was delivered promptly and the packaging was good. The mobile worked well but for only two months. Around 20th Jan 2015 it simply died. Please note that the Redmi 1S was in perfect condition otherwise.
Xiomi has only 2 repair centers in Pune. The nearest one was 10 km away. I went to PC Support , the authorized center in Pune on 31st Jan. This place repairs all kinds of Mobiles and laptops. I had to wait for 4 hours. I was informed that they would take a couple of days to inform me about the problem/issues.
On 9th Feb I rang up PC Support, who told me that the LCD screen was defective and had to be replaced. I was also informed that Xiomi takes long time to supply spare parts and therefore it will take time to repair the item.
I rang up Xiomi support directly. I was told that the spare part will be provided within a week. The support number is 13012. This was on 9th Feb.
Since I did not receive any call from them, I rang up Xiomi support again on 16 Feb. This time I was told that the spare part has to come from China and they were not sure whether it was dispatched. Anyway, spares are sent by sea and therefore will take an indefinite amount of time. I was told not to inquire again and will get a call once they repair the mobile.
Today it's 21st Feb - more than a month since the Xiomi Redmi 1s became defective. I have a feeling that I will have to go through much more before I get the Redmi 1S back - if at all.
The message seems clear - all of you who have a Xiomi product must keep praying that nothing goes wrong with their mobile. In many cases prayers may not work since the quality is poor.
If your Xiomi product goes defective you may have to buy another ( not from Xiomi I assume). Xiomi does not have it's own repair centers - it rides piggy back on others. Spares have to come all the way from China ??????? ,which means even if you are lucky , it may take months to get it back.
Overall, my experience has been bad. There are two conclusions - either buy a branded mobile or go for an Indian made stuff. At least the spares would be available if mobile is manufactured in India. The third option is to take the risk and throw Xiomi mobile Redmi 1S away without bothering to get it repaired.
My rating is based on the total amount of time it worked ( 45 days approx). Time it is taking for repairs ( not yet repaired after 30 days approx). Information that spares have top be sent from China and that too by sea ( come on a ship) was alarming.
I would not recommend anyone to buy any Xiomi product. The quality is suspect and poor. Support is non-existent.
