Memory Card Slot = No
Dual Sim = No
Conclusion = More suitable for developed nation with good Telco facilities, not suitable for developing nation which require dual sim to compensate obsolete telecommunication facilities & low income which can't afford more than 1 phone.
I'm excited to own this beast smart phone, when it will be release in the philippines? Thanks
Does the Xiomi mi4 has a cornering gorilla glass 3 protection as it is not mentioned in the specifications.
Also I want to confirm that it does not have a memory card slot and a dual sim option.

Tried this in a store today (I'm in China). It was the white 3G / 16gb version as that's all that's available at the moment.
First impressions were that the design is OK, but not great. It looks a little 'last year'. That is, it draws too much from the iPhone in looks with the glossy slab approach. As such, the chamfered, angular edges make it slightly uncomfortable to hold. Personally, I prefer a matte finish and more curved to fit more naturally in the hand.
However, I would say this is almost a perfect size for my one-handed preference as the bezels are slimmer than the Mi 3 and overall dimensions a touch smaller. One-handed use is fine which cannot be said for most other new devices which are 5.2 to 5.5-inches and beyond.
The device is fast - no lag whatsoever from what I could tell - which you would expect with the specs. The screen is bright and clear and wasn't obviously worse than other flagships (Find 7, 5s, S5). I like MIUI and see it only getting better as development progresses.
The camera was fast and responsive but it is difficult to see just how good or bad the image quality is on the screen.
When the 64GB 4G version is available next month, I will likely buy one. At the moment, 16GB (12GB usable) is too small for a modern phone, even if you store many things in the cloud. Apps, photos and videos will fill things up too quickly.
Without any microSD card slot, I would only consider 64GB, particularly since the price is only a few hundred CNY more. Likewise for 4G: it's more and more common and future-proofing is common sense rather than regretting waiting a month.
