That makes it even more confusing though, because Xiaomi's Mi3 was confirmed to have Gorilla glass, but that is not listed on cornings site either.
AnonD-298939, 22 Feb 2015Corning keeps an updated listing of devices that have been verified to be using Gorilla Glass ... moreThanks! I forgot acgtually forgot about that list corning had... I wonder how Xiaomi is able to get away with such a thing..
go for software upgrade in mi phones it can drastically reduce temp issue...but guys ur using a 2.4 Ghz processor...so its well expected..
mi is using a good heat conductor for ventilating this heat out..in result a bit heat body... but its far expected...
opo is using a gard to prevent this heat inside, thats actually not good for the processor ..
mi4 is worth buying
caps lock on: do not buy this phone its worst at battery pathetic battary back up and heating issues.
rest phone is 10 outta 10 leaving battery on one side
I also am facing the problem of body heating while using multiple apps and worsens during charging..is there anything that Xiomi can do for this

Xiaomi isn't on the list in any shape or form which means Corning themselves have not yet verified any of Xiaomi's phones to be using official Corning Gorilla Glass.
Fyi you'll find Meizu on the list so there are really no reasons for Xiaomi to not be verified unless they are in fact not using officially sourced Gorilla Glass on their phones.
I do not understand something about this phone... EVERYWHERE i read it states that the Mi4 does NOT have corning gorilla glass. EXCEPT Xiaomi's website itself, which states in more than 1 place on the website, that the Mi4 actually DOES have corning gorilla glass OGS.
How can there be that much confusion of the glass being used... does it have gorilla glass or not?
I am facing heating problems in MI4... how to deal with that problem and how should I complaint to xiaomi about this.?
I Also face same heating problem. And the worse thing is battery drains more than 20℅ during night when phone is in idle state

aryamaan, 19 Feb 2015I am planning to buy 64 GB (in India) in coming sale. As I see there are no review section on ... moreI have thoroughly used mi3, Opo & mi4 all three (own a mi3 & opo presently). And i can suggest you eyes closed to go for Opo if u r planning to spend 20-25k on these. Apart from the fact that the opo offers 21% bigger screen & full 4g, I have found the battery backup to be better than both mi3 & mi4- in spite of the bigger screen. Though 'many' (lets say roughly half) of the Opo's have the much talked about yellow tint issue in the bottom-one-third of the screen- even if u get it it's not very intrusive. The number of people facing some or the other issue with mi4 is much much higher than those facing issues with opo. The ui on both is very good. Miui is fantastic- its good looking and very functional and quite tweakable while CM is a bit simple looking but is extremely tweakable and very functional.
I can explain & explain but in short i will highly suggest opo.
salil, 20 Feb 2015Is this worth buying? Pls tell how is it compared to samsung s4 Note 3 neo nokia 730 S4 is faar better

i am waiting for mi4 sale on feb24.but the users reviews,it over heats and poor battery and without a headphone.pls help....? because this is my first smart phone.....!
I am using it for last 7 days.it has very good built quality attractive design, excellent display quality, average battery life, good responsive camera,WiFi tethering for 1 hour (YouTube video streaming on computer ) drains only 10% of battery.only problem is heating -temperature raised above 75 degree Celsius.heating occurs during charging along with streaming and youtube video watching.I have iPhone 5s and same heating problem present in 5s also. One thing is true that performance not slows down during heating.
I have faced heating problem battery temperature shows 37.8deg phone not kept to ear it is hot and uncomfortable.
They say below 45 deg temperature its OK but temp metal body easily absorbed and restored and when atmosphere temp is below its OK in morning but on afternoon we feel very hot.
Mi should solve and make customer statisfied
