ey are basically the same in terms of hardness and resistance to scratches. But they are used in different applications. Concore glass is part of a display and Gorilla class is used to protect a display from damage. Concore glass combines display and protection class into one. This reduces the thickness of the display.

Guyz... Please suggest on Mi 4i or Samsung J7, compared to Mi 4i, it has weight, so decided to go ahead with Mi 4i. Also i come to know about Mi 4c. My usage is very less, just cam (Not Often). So please suggest Which one would be the best option to go ahead.
I heard that MI 4i has heating issues, i have no issues to wait some more time for Mi 4c. However please suggest best option for me to go ahead.

I asked a Xiaomi staff, they told me 4c has Corning Concore Glass.

Today I visited official display center of Xiaomi in Jinan, China. I check the Xiaomi mi 4c, 16 GB, 2GB RAM version. The built quality doesn't give a premium look, but it is some how looks better while holding than that of Xiaomi Note2. The phone Xiaomi mi 4c, I was checking has already a few minor scratches on it where from I am sure that this doesn't come with an gorilla class protection or any other. The glass seems to be not very much finished from the corners as it looks in Xiaomi mi 4 which has nice curvical shape from the sides with good finishes. Moreover, I didn't find the display to be more pleasant it is just so so even Meizu phones have got better display than this Xiaomi Mi 4c. The most important point I want to share is this phone heated alot from the front and back when I used. I didn't play any games, I just took couples of pictures from front and rear cameras and then opened some apps that were already installed but the phone got hotter with in 3 minutes of usage. So as per my experience, the major major here is the heating problem which most of the Xiaomi phones suffer with so is the case with Xiaomi mi 4c.

as for gaming concern,
in current gen, processors and ram dont matter so match its the gpu and its glops..
Adreno 418(snapdragon 808) being in 4c has much more score than even Adreno330( snadragon 801) or way too ahead than Adreno 320( snapdragon 600)which is used in mi2s.

Prolly will have mi 4c very soon cause an exclusive online dealer here in the philippines stopped supplying mi 4i.

quad core and dual core means it's hexa core?I wonder how about the game performance on this phone..
I want to upgrade my old xiaomi mi2s,and the choice is this or mi note pro,this one more price friendly though but I'm in love with mi note pro,hmmm....very confused now

Im very eagerly waiting for this phone to launch in india.From some sources on the net i got to know that Mi4C international version both in black and white colour is now available for international preorder and yes it will come with internal custom ROMS and the preorders ends on 22nd of October,so guyz there is a high chance that launch of Mi4c will be declared in india before the preorder date which is on 22nd of october,Fingers Crossed hope to hear the launch of this phone soon in india and again it will be first available on Mi.com/Flipkart.com keep ur eyes on this sites for more news.

Still the same reason why Xiaomi omitted NFC from current flagship lines: low level of adoption in their target markets (China, India and some Southeast Asia). The same reasoning for why it puts instead an IR Blaster.

My phone takes 1.4-1.5 hrs for full charge for 2400mhp battery (no quick charge features). How this stupid features mentioned for Mi 4c quick charge shall take 2.5hrs in total to complete battery full. I'm confusing

Xiaomi has no plan to lunch mi 4c in India... its available only in Chinese market.....
