I haven't done that, and even if I want to I can't coz the updater app says ther... moreActually sir, there is an update and it' s on miui 8.1.2.0 but in chinese version because mi4c is intended to be sold at china only so there is no global firmware.. But it's ok, i updated mine and chose the english language. The heating issues from my tampered ROm is gone.

Someone said that Mi 4c uses Concore glass. It is manufactured by Corning Glass.

The other disadvantages of Mi 4c I found after use it for a month:
1. GPS location frequently need time to work properly (sometimes won't work for a while, need think from user to handle it fist in oder to be work). I guess this is because the Chinese rom (firmware)
2. If edge control back is activated, when typing using Google Keyboard, it sometimes the virtual keyboard will close by itself. The edge control back itself is too sensitive.

juris, 27 Nov 2016Why new mobile phone have old Android OS v5.1.1 ? Why not new OS 7.0 ?!Xiaomi Mi 4c is Lollipop out of the box, if you want an update then if its available on your country then you can. 90/10 chances if your from the far west.
