one month review-
great phone. awesome camera. selfies camera even better. battery is very good. i use for work and easily whole day goes with charging requird only once in a day. great size- fits beautfilly in hand. layout android is fine. only negative is 16gb space. 11 gb left after installation. i wish this was a 32 gb phone or had sc card. rest thier is no negative. friends who have apple at work are considering buying this phone as its such great value for money.

Opps only 16 GB,32GB is common for Evey people.
No card slot and only 16 GB is the great mistake of Xiaomi Mi 4i.
Rest of the feature are superb.

VERY IMPORTANT
Xiomi mentions that it it uses sony/samsung camera on Mi4i . How can I find out that a specific unit has the sony camera or not ?
It not at all justified that initially for good camera reviews they will supply units with sony camera & then use cheaper samsung camera for later units...

I used a white Mi 4i for 7 days. And then i sold it on OLX. The things those compelled me to do so are
1. File sharing in between two phones through Wi-Fi is very slow(only one forth of speed as compared to same or lower price range other device like lenovo a6000 or lg l90 etc etc). Where file sharing via Xender, Mi 4i gives maximum 1.5 to 2mbps speed to any phone but the normal speed is 5 to 7mbps.
2. Problem with the proximity censor. Some times the display goes off when you just dial a number and you r holding the phone normally. The display never lit up again once it goes off on call untill you press the power button two times in a row. Some times power button also fails to lit up the display and untill you plug in a head phone or the other end person end up the call the display remains off.
2. There are some network related issues too.

Mi4i......Camera quality is awesome......
tough great.......working and performance quite satisfactory..
overall excellent in this price tag.......

Please do some research on photography stuff.
