The worst phone I ever purchased in my life. I purchased this in Oct-2015 and within 2-3 months its started getting hanged and slow, still somehow I managed to use it. Recently another issue with this phone is that this phone’s battery not getting charge with the charger, without charge of battery there is no use of any phone.
Yesterday (21st Aug-16) I went to service station at Bodakdev-Ahmedabad where I see multiple customer with different complains in MI Phones. It was rush in service centre, there was no place to sit and waiting for all customers for almost 1 to 2 hours. This itself indicates that how often customer getting issues in this MI Phone. Even the customer service executives were very frustrated and were shouting to people like anything. My worst experience ever.
When my turn came they asked me to keep my phone there for 15 days as the Part not available to them. Try to understand in today’s generation what should a person do without phone for 15 days? Do a person buy new phone to manage in those 15 days? Still I decided to give my phone but when I asked for internal data security they told they are not taking any responsibility of Data hence its better to take data backup. When this charging Point is not working then how should a customer take data backup? Becaue from the same point we have to connect wire in computer for data backup.
Overall not at all good experience with phone and service centre. Totally waste of money.
If you want to go for MI phone make sure you have another good phone as a backup for this MI phone.
I got miui 8 update and it's same Lollipop version but awesome changes are made.
Is it support Reliance Jio 4G - presently booming at Indian market. If not - is there any plan to upgrade the software by Xiaomi in near future.
I am using this phone for more than a year. It very nice and very good performance. It has customized feature. It changes lock screen automatically like Pc desktop. well phone. You need to update MIUI versions to keep phone performing fast.

I have lost my mi 4i sim tray /sim slot. Where r i get new one. I have Complain about it at service center at 1/8/2016. But till today service center not have it.every time after asking they reply me it take a few time. It passed 20 days. Where i get it???

This is the worst fone ever anyone can have. I recommend u all never buy this.I literally wasted my ten thousand.Memory space is a big prob. It gets heated so fast. It hangs so much. And in the cloud option of gallery also when your pics will be vanished u never know
Worst Phone Never purchase it. I purchase this Mi4i in Sep.2015 . It developed snag in June 16. Since June 16 it is lying in Service Centre and every time i go there they say 'Please have patience ' Mi is not supplying parts and they will deliver the repaired phone only when they get the parts from China. When God only knows. It is disgusting. I will sue this company very soon. Please NEVER purchase Xiaomi company's phone.

I purchased Note 3 Phone 10 days back. It stopped working on 10th Day. When I called up customer care , They were rude and did not had manners to talk. They told me visit service center. I went to ,malad service center, There were lot of People complaining of problems in new phones. I had spent half day to get my new phone checked. They said motherboard is faulty and will take 25 days to rpair it. I have wasted my 12000 rs. I will suggest everyone not to buy this 3rd grade Chinese phone.
i purchased the phone in nov 2015 and the same is within warranty which is of 1 year. It stopped working in the last week and i went to service centre located at thane, panchpakhadi. I was told that there is a liquid damage, hence phone cannot be repaired under warranty. When i asked about charges the she told that Rs.7400.00 and advised that don't go for repair just buy a new one. I was shocked and asked to get it repair under warranty but she told that its motherboard is totally out of order and has to replaced and other parts also damaged hence charges are Rs.7400.00 and data cannot be saved which is very important for me because all my numbers are in the phone.
For second opinion i just handed over the phone to local mobile phone repairer. He said that it is not in very bad condition and he can repair the same with a charge of Rs.1000.00 without any data loss; and i got it repaired.
The morale of the story is how the service centre of the reputed company is behaving and fooling the customers. Even they could have done the same, but misguided and tried to lure into buying a new one. Beware of such service centres.
Hi, I bought this phone and it didn't set up properly. . com android.provision has stopped, is the only message I get. Tried to send it back to China but post office say sending mobile phone to China by airmail with battery is forbidden.
I am using this device for more than a year, I purchased it on first Day First Sale.
Now a days I am facing a really big issue on this device related to battery, phone got switched off after using Internet for couple of minutes no matter what was the battery percentage showing, then it didn't start, and I need to charge the phone to start, and the most irritating thing is that it start charging like 2%-4% then directly jumped to 40-60% and after couple of minutes its showing full charge and if I use the phone without charging I am facing the same issue again.
I visit the MI service center regarding this issue, they were saying that it might be a software issue we have to flash the device which will charge Rs. 450/-, at first I agreed with that but then I asked them are you sure that after flashing the device my phone will work, they said if it didn't then you have to replace the battery as the battery is too old (its just 1 years 2-3 month old), and which will cost Rs. 800/- though it was written at the service center about the spare parts price details that battery cost is Rs. 499/- but they are charging me Rs. 800/- without any reason, and totally they are asking me to pay 1250 for just a single issue whether it should be solved by either replacing the battery or flashing the phone, So, I decided to purchase a new battery and flash it at home, but they replied we don't have the battery in stock, and to know when it will be available I have call them and ask them on a regular basis though they never pick the phone.
So, I just flash it at home but problem didn't solve yet.
So, My suggestion is to never ever buy any MI device
