Arunachalam, 03 May 2015There are two kind of LTE 4G technology. FDD & TDD. In India, TDD Technology is followed w... moreIt does not support FDD 4G on 800mhz that is band 20, and also doesn't support 3G on 900mhz band, these bands were acquired by Indian telecom operators in march 2015 spectrum auction.
Already Idea started 3G on 900mhz band in Delhi or Mumbai and even other telecom operators are planning too because these are very efficient bands for data transfer for internet. They travel very far distance from towers at low power costs. These signals have deep and inner building penetrating power. That's why many telecom operators prefer this.

There are two kind of LTE 4G technology. FDD & TDD. In India, TDD Technology is followed which band 33 to 43. MI 4i has band 38, 38, 39, 40 & 41. So this phone will support for 4G network available in India. If you want to buy 4G phone, pls check whether that phone will support 4G in India or not.
