releasing higher storage variant looks really difficult...phone is priced at 12999...higher gig variant wil have to be priced at least 2000rs more...but if they do it..then it will be threat to its own product xiaomi mi4(16gb)...really looks difficult

First of all lets clear all the fuss
1st It supports usb otg
2nd You can probably root and remove default apps bit you'll only be clear 500 mb max without hindering phones default functions like call or contact apps
3rd- black color will definitely launch in India but 64 gb is pure speculation

It's a good mobile no doubt for that price range. But one crap is that there is no SD card slot, which is very disappointing thing i must say and from 16Gb only 10.7Gb is usable storage u get.

What about route access?.. all preinstalled garbage apps can be uninstalled or not for expanding the small internal user memory from 10.9 gb to 16 gb?...
