wtf... wat the whole point in giving all these feature n jus 10gb storage... there no sense in this. I was planning to sell my yureka n buy this phone but after coming to kno about storage I drop the plan huge mistake by Xiaomi ppl!

Savvy, 27 Apr 2015This is flagship version. I think 12 gm user memory is enough for a killer user. I am not sure... moreif you install games like Asphalt 8 or Modern Combat 5, you can not install more than 8 games.
Doesn't include other applications or files like social media, photos, music, videos, etc...
16GB is not its real capacity, maybe only 10-11 GB that you can use.
Overall this phone is not a flagship killer.
Mi 4i is just a cheap phone from Xiaomi.
The real flagship killer is Mi Note Pro, Mi Note, and Mi 4.

Just it is wary of being sued. China and India are the largest market for it and lesser chance of getting sued there by global players who had good portfolio of patents and Xiaomi may be in breach of some patents. Once Xiaomi started paying for those patents the phones would become more expensive.....take for example Microsoft make 12-15 dollar per phone from other big players for its patents to be used by them. Also Xiaomi does not have any significant Patent which it can trade with these big players. With good relationship with mobile makers like samsung and sony for using their parts, Xiaomi is already in a right path to launch globally. Hope they can just make the phone faster.

IT NEEDS MORE MEMORY! Xiaomi what were you thinking, customizing a phone to Indian user standards and omitting the absolute need for more GB, Now if this has a 32 GB model it would be perfect.

None of the Mi series phone nowadays comes with SD Card slot, so there is no slot in this Mi4i too
