I bought it for just few days and it heats up easily. Also, the the phone always has just 500ram even if I turned off every running apps.The device is alwYs hot and laggy and please fix it asap

Most of my app kills automatically jst when loading is done when i open them using wifi.. It works perfectly when opened using mobile data. It was not happening before. What could b d problem? It jst stop n goes back to home screen n i hv to restart again n again

If you are tired pressing the power switch in Redmi phones just download gravity screen and save your power button.

Dont buy this phone it is very very slow phone it run as like 512mb ram phone. Eexcept its size it has nothing worth to buy. I have never ever seen this kind of slow phone

Smart Cover Mode under "lock screen" is not working on my Mi 4i.

I am strongly advise people to not take this Mi4i mobile, I have never seen worst mobile then this. It has lot of drawbacks in 10 min it will hang 10 times, it will take nearly 5 to 10 min to open contacts, I dono how gov or authorised people will allow this kind of mobile to market.
Its just dumb and worst mobile. Simply I wasted my 10k on this phone.

I am using xiaomi mi4i from last 6 months!
Mobile camera, battery backup, processing are fine! With loaded internal storage you will get some issues like slow processing but afterall it works fine!
Mobile look is nice! It is smaller size mobile for 5 inch display i find for the corresponding budget!
Display is FHD and good! MiUi interface is nice!
Different color notifications LED makes notifications easy to identified! Many things to do with this mobile!
Yeah you will find some heating issues after using internet, watching movies for long time! But overall it is right choice to buy this mobile for budget of 12000!

I purchase a post paid plan 999 with xiaomi Mi 4i. This will be delivered within the week. I am excited about it. I am specs conscious and this phone meets what i want. I can say that it has good hardware great actually but affordable i mean low price. I hope it will perform as it should be. I am looking for more info about it, tricks, do's and don't, forums and this site is my first discovery. I hope i can learn more about find some links. I've been using iphone so i am ios oriented and active in apple community. This is my first time to use android good to know it has 5.0.2 lollipop. If you have advises and suggestions it will be appreiciated. I will now ready to proceed getting more info about it here.
