I have a mi4i for a month, with last updates; the phone is as expected: good performance (after some tunning), no lags, battery resists at least 2 days. No complains so far.

i have a mi4i. i am happy to buy this but this phone can't support 3g video calling and battery is average, i want to buy mi5 , i hope china will released mi5 1st ini ndia and i am sure this phone is the flagship of xioami

I have using mi 4i from 2 months.1or 2 times its gone to be heng and its touch not working so I have no option to do switch off to it.
Otherwise its fantastic phone.
And how we increase mi cloud memory.

I have one Mi4i, technically, it is in my drawer now :)
Serious problems are still remaining unresolved despite many updates on MIUI.
1. Heat
2. Lag
3. Battery life
These 3 major problems would make a disaster in your normal day usage.
Eventually, I bought a new Oppo R7plus, bigger screen, but also using the same chipset/processor as Mi4i.
I can't find the above 3 issues at all with this Oppo.
PS: If you really want to buy this MI4i, think twice please :)

Is it good or bad? I feel MIUI v7.1.1.0 is better than v7.0.4.0 and v7.03.0 previously on Mi 4i.
Need some more time to prove it though, but for 1 week usage I think it's better in battery life and performance. I can't tell much, just check in MIUI forum to see what others say...

ryan33, 10 Jan 2016Just custom rom :-( Can get 6.0Newest or latest Android don't have much effect if you have MIUI ROM installed on your Mi phones coz MIUI has regular updates like 3 weeks-1 month for global stable version. I want to switch to MIUI CN developer ROM just want to experience the weekly (or be-weekly) updates.

One and a half day for me.
By the way, I am not a heavy user.
Only FB, WA, BBM installed for social media and chatting.
Watching youtube 1-2 hours a day.
Almost never playing games.
Maybe not for all of you, but I really like the MIUI very much.
One of my other phone have almost pure Lollipop installed, but that device can't be installed with MIUI skin, not supported, coz it is local brand and not famous. OK I tell you, it is Andromax 4G, last time I checked it doesn't have MIUI for this.

Don't update your phone to miui 7.1.1.0, it drains battery worse than 7.0.3.0. Stick to miui 7.0.3.0.
