I have this phone about a month, Overall it is alright (for the money) but nearly every one has experienced some kind of problem. Mine has problem with tethering as a USB - tethering and hot spot. My data plan allows that but I can not use it. It is very sad because the phone looks very nice and attractive.
I FEEL VERY DISAPPOINTED. In my opinion the XIAOMI way to sell phone is nice design, good characteristics for the price but not fully functional phones. EVERY SINGLE PHONE HAS A PROBLEM. Some have overheating, others no wife or tethering and ect. If you go in their xiaomi forum you will see so much complaining. I don't understand Xiaomi they seem to attract the customer only on paper with the characteristics but in fact the phone is not what you would think in real. For Example Mi 4i has very good display but kills the battery, a good battery that goes dead for a few hours because the display is too powerful. The phone is very thin, why make it a bit thicker but with bigger battery. It is cheap. Make it a bit more expansive but everything to work.
Before to buy my phone I read some complainings but I hoped that is not going to happen to me. I strongly advise you TO CONSIDER NOT BUYING XIAOMI. Out there on the market there is a choice of better phones for the money.

I was using this phone 2 days onwprds,only problem is browser.in this phone when I am using internet by help of crome the browser was hanging 3to 6 sec,and some times phone will be restate.
Tell me any solutions is there for solving this issue.

indeed a good option at that price...and really love the colors it is available in and the clarity of the camera is awesome...one of the best phones ive ever got...tq xiaomi

I think dis fone is now the best phone in market . Compared to Samsung ,Sony. This phone is good best cheap fone dis good performance mi4i 2gb ram phone wen it comes in samsung or Sony it will be double the price . So I suggest everyone to use xioami
