A week ... moreRule of gold in technology: if you can wait, then WAIT.
There is always something better just around the corner, that's how evolution works, the key here is to only buy stuff when you really need them.

It's a valid question, assuming its answer like you did can be a very expensive mistake!
for mi5.

Do you think they will call it a flagship model if they don't ? You can easily check out the specs for Mi 3 & 4 and see if they have glass protection, and then ask yourself if 5 is smaller than 3/4 ?

Oneplus 2 or Lenovo Vibe X3 or Wait For Mi5 to Launch on 24th Feb ??????
-----------
A week back I purchased OPO2 and within 24hrs I cancelled order as I saw Lenovo Vibe X3 hv more features than opo2 (like IR, microsd, camera etc ) although it has SD808 and 3gb ram but that barely make any diff n infact 808 is still better thn 810 ....
but then I saw the Mi5 launch date is confirmed by xiaomi (24 feb) ... so i thought its better to wait bec its features esp the SD820, IR and QHD is attracting me...
But I am still confused whether it is worth waiting bec Im looking for a flagship killer ph under 25000Rs (360usd) ... if it also comes out to another flagship mobile over 30K ... it will be a waste of time (then better I shld buy OPO2)
Plz suggest me guys....
when is it going to be launched

Anonymous, 05 Feb 2016GFXbench shows Mi 5 as 5.7" phablet ??? Please don't tell me I've wasted 6 months for nothing. Is it coming with a single screen size variant i.e.5.7" or is there going to be another one with 5.2".
I don't think you've really wasted your time. GFXBench has not really been so accurate about detecting screen size. Read here http://www.droidafrica.com/2016/02/05/xiaomi-mi5-performance-compared/

Bob007, 24 Jan 2016thing is if you have 16gb with sd card slot and 64 gb with sdcard lot ,people will opt for the... moreSeriously... Consider a remedial English grammar course before making your babbling and rambling comments. I am not kidding. No one is questioning your right to express your opinion. But when you display a complete lack of basic language skills, any "message" you hope to convey, is lost. That is, if you immediately come across as a total under-educated moron, few people are going to read any further.
Will the sim card slots be standard size or will they be micro-sim size?
It excellent

I personally like the decision to go with a 1080p display instead of a QHD one. You are still getting over 400ppi on a 5.3" screen which is more than enough unless you plan to duct tape the device to your face (hello VR). I wish they would have gone with an OLED panel tho.
Xiaomi Mi 5 will only use 1080p display. No QHD. This has been confirmed by Senior VP, Liwan Jiang. Good move indeed.
Quote: "The company’s Senior VP also mentioned ‘Black Screen Technology’ which will, presumably, also be a part of the Mi 5. Now, we’re not sure what Xiaomi’s Senior VP meant by ‘Black Screen Technology’, but we’re assuming he’s pointing towards an OLED panel, or something of the sort. As you all know, OLED panels provide great contrast, and have deep black colors."
