MI5S has bigger camera sensor 1/2.3", 1.55µm compared to mi5 or even to galaxy s7 which only has 1/2.5" 1.45µm. Bigger sensor means it can attract more light even in a darker situation so there is no need to be stabilized by the OIS to get good picture.

Camera quality much better than iPhone 6s (its the only phone I compared it with) and battery life is amazing. I usually have 40% or 30% left at the end of the day, but whats even better is quickcharging, and I swear this thing charges ridiculously fast (40% in 15min, even more if phone is turned off). No lags whatsoever in any game or daily use. Only cons for me are that you need to get used to the fingerprint scanner, as at first it may seem it fails to read your fingerprint, but if you place your finger correctly you will find no problem at all. The other con is the ugly bezel (idk if its spelled like that) which, may be easily

Rex Tech, 18 Nov 2016Agreed,the only thing it needs is an OIS.I agree. If this phone had OIS it would be the perfect phone. But for me I'm okey without OIS it's not huge deal. Especially in 300$ device ! ! !

AnonD-590773, 15 Nov 2016any1 using this phone plzz reply about its pros and cons. is battery life good, is camera good... moreDefinetly a great phone in terms of everything.Camera is amazing but lacks OIS.It doesn't have heat problems,battery decent (top 12 flagships).Still lacks the radio,ir blaster and sd slot but it gives same flagship performance as S7 and Iphone 7.Build quiality similar or a bit better than mi 5.
