On newer devices I see to make it simple it needs to be unlocked or a cable is needed. Qualcomm drivers now need to be side loaded via ADB, otherwise the method remains the same:

Xiaomi.eu(unofficial global firmware that trims 200mb+ of crap out and includes many languages) you ensure your phone is unlocked then just install the Chinese weekly, enable root, flash twrp for your specific device found on the same weekly page at xiaomi.eu via Flashify with root (just download the apk https://onhax.me/flashify), then install the xiaomi.eu firmware under twrp.
You only do that once. After install updates via the updater app when it's available or manually down directly from xiaomi.eu and use the "Choose update package" option in the updater app. Also the great thing about this is you don't need to wait around for weeks/months for official global firmware when a new device comes out.

Fastboot firmware you just plug it into the usb in fastboot mode(hol... moreall the new devices after mi 4 or mi note have locked bootloader so in order to flash roms via mi flash you have to boot into edl mode not fastboot mode.plz google on how to get into edl mode for all newer xiaomi phones whose bootloader are locked.and bootloader locked devices internal storage will be wiped when flashing with miflash so you have to back up your data

In reviews i found Z2 Plus is good but in amazon customer reviews they said the phone doesn't have QC 3.0. If is it incorrect I'll buy Z2 plus definitely.

Reasons
Pros
1) 3500mah with 5 inch 1080p display (lemax2 & mi5 have smaller battery and bigger screens that are hard to handle in your hands, also Lemax2 has QHD Display & it will deplete a lot of power a lot faster)
2) 3.5mm jack (lemax2 doesnt have that)
3) 4gb ram & 64gb storage (xiaomi only has 3gb & 32gb plus there cpu is underclocked)
4) after sale service maybe better cuz lenovo is well established brand in india while xiaomis after sale service is crap (dont know about leecos service)
5) stock android experience and not zui
Some Cons too
1) storage is not fast ufc 2.0 but old slower mmc (sorry dont know exactly what both r called)
2) camera quality not so good for the price or so i have heard from users of z2 (though cpu gpu are too good for the price)
3) thicker size than the other 2 phones
4) may or may not have HW support to play HEVC 10bit 1080p videos which other 2 can play with mxplayer (still waiting for users to confirm about this)
For now i could only remember about all this. Also i will recommend u to extendyour budget and get oneplus 3. its better than all other 820 soc phones also has fast android updates and patch plus a lot more support for root & custom rom etc from xda community. But if u cant do that than go for z2.

I'm planning to but a new smartphone..my budget is below 23k. Does anyone know when will launch this killer phone in India? And pls suggest which phone is best in under 23000 indian rupees

Chrjns, 30 Sep 2016Its easy to get global stable rom from miui.com, but now you need to apply for pin password in... moreNope, no pin is required. Fastboot firmware you just plug it into the usb in fastboot mode(hold volume down and power button) and flash it via MiFlash under windows, make sure you tick to do a full wipe. This ensures nothing from the previous firmware interferes. http://en.miui.com/a-234.html for the MiFlash app and latest firmware.
Edit: I see you may need to unlock(I didn't have to). this is actually easy, you can apply now while signed into your Xiaomi account at the the link above, it takes 2 days usually. Once your account has the ability to unlock you can instantly unlock any Xiaomi phone.

Have you ever know that OIS is even harmful t... morejust my opinion amoled or oled use low energy, more sharpnest and brighness to dislpay, i think need OIS make video better, but just love photograp this smartphone better to used.
