AnonD-663719, 25 Apr 2017then dont buy wireless headphone!.. xiaomi is giving a converter of size 5 cm within the box..... moreI already have a Type C to 3.5 mm converter and the sound output is horribly distorted
for me it's perfect but i want to know the screen protection first
Have Xiaomi forgotten their customer base are in developing countries who really don't have the extra cash to buy those expensive tin-can Bluetooth headsets and can't be bothered putting on an adapter just so they can use their wired headphones. Imagine how many times you will have do that in a day when the alternative is so much easier. Just plug it in and your good to go. They copied a feature no sane Android manufacturer should even touch with a ten foot pole. They reduced usability for the sake of copying a company that have stop turning out any noteworthy feature since putting a fingerprint scanner in their phones. Honestly anyone who supports this removal shouldn't bother with Android anymore just save your cash and buy that glorified IOS toy.
AnonD-663719, 25 Apr 2017then dont buy wireless headphone!.. xiaomi is giving a converter of size 5 cm within the box..... moreusb port has more fragile than 3.5 audio port. I think no one to complain a 400$ mi flagship come with microsd slot, bigger battery, and a headphone jack..
AnonD-654323, 25 Apr 2017A ridiculous decision to remove headphone jack. People who are saying stop talking about the h... morethen dont buy wireless headphone!.. xiaomi is giving a converter of size 5 cm within the box.. connect it to your headset n u can enjoy music with better quality in type c than 3.5 mm jack.. n xiaomi wont lose any educated customer as they know company is giving converter for free within the box n more than 8 million already pre ordered it in china! even you lose it, u can buy it for 1 or 2 bucks.. you can keep the converter connected all the time.. Only problem is you cannot charge at same time, but think its a safety measure as listening to music while charging cause over heating inside may leads to burning of battery.. Xiaomi also issued info on why they removed 3.5 mm jack.. first of all, check xiaomi have given at this price point.. for 360$ can you tell any other phone with snapdragon 835, adreno 540, dual 12 MP camera with telephoto lens, 6 gigs RAM.. atleast for 400$? 500$? 600$????? those who are waiting for oneplus 5, i am 100% sure its gonna cost more than 550$.. oneplus 3T is still 450$.. so dont expect its gonna be budget flagship.. its gonna be a flagship but not budget friendly one! HOPE MANY SHOUTING IGNORANT GUYS REALIZE WHAT XIAOMI IS GIVING FOR 360$.. if you can spend 800-900$, then no point in visiting this page.. you can buy S8..!!! you dont have to sacrifice anything, instead of plugging headset in a small hole u have to plug your headset in medium sized hole with 5cm converter!!!

AnonD-654323, 25 Apr 2017A ridiculous decision to remove headphone jack. People who are saying stop talking about the h... moreMi 7 should come with QHD screen (like other normal flagship), stereo speakers, bigger battery, and memory slot.
A ridiculous decision to remove headphone jack. People who are saying stop talking about the headphone jack are nuts. I don't know if they are paid or not, otherwise I don't see any logic to support the removal of headphone jack. There are no wireless headphone in the market which has the sound quality of a mid to high end wired headphone (RHA t20/ Shure SE425). An adapter for a headphone is just unbelievably ridiculous and on top of that you also have to charge the wireless headphone, another headache. Apple lovers might love dongles to charge and listen to music at the same time but we normal people don't. I think MI6 lost one third of its potential buyer just by removing the headphone jack. I hope they learn and bring back the headphone jack in MI7.
The perfect phone made imperfect by the removal of the headphone jack. Why did u do this Xiaomi why do u try to be like apple when you can be better ?
It looks exactly like Huawei Honor 8. They use the same OEM assembly plant???
Sadly it doesn't support MicroSD expansion.
Stop fighting for 3.5mm port. Xiaomi is giving an adapter(3.5mm to USB type C) for that out of the box.
