Sorry, Xiaomi but size does matter in 2017... I understand that some people (particularly in Asia) have small hands and all but at least release a bigger version for those of us who don't have small hands (Mi 6 Plus)
paralepiped, 19 Apr 2017Iphone copycat in design.. Worse screen-to-body ratio and much heavier compared to Mi5.then you build one mobile for you
I was surprised with the dual camera and the minimum storage offered by xiaomi. All of them make the price exploded!!!i'm really-really sad for that shit
No Mi 6 Plus ? The screen on the Mi6 is too small and using multiple windows on it is a joke... it's a no from me, Xiaomi.
Why MI is not putting front MI logo, sometimes I feel angry about this, look poor without front logo.

Just like "phone made of glass" became the high-end premium for whatever reason, apparently "plugging your headphones into your USB port" is following suit :(
1- 1080p screen is a reason why I would never buy this phone.
2- If you're not a major company like Samsung/Sony/HTC; you should prefer stock Android on your phones instead of making new shitty Android UI's.
What's important is the internal storage. If they got 64gb rom and above, it should be more than enough. SD card may cause problem like file corrupt or failure and not that useful anymore. 3.5mm jack shouldn't be taken out, I wish to use earpiece while I'm charging, Bluetooth is not necessary or convenient for some user who thinks the sounds quality may not as good as a wired one and need to charge it once in a while, and become another factor to drain your phone battery.
CommonSense, 19 Apr 2017If your phone has a built-in 64GB or 128GB, why do you need an external memory card? what for? If ur phone is broken, need factory reset, what do you think about your data ? I dont have premium dropbox, gdrive premium, just free, dont always backup my data to pc. Yeah thats nice feeling....
Lead2XL, 19 Apr 2017I really liked the Xiaomi Mi 5 - one of the best phones I ever owned. However, I was hoping fo... moreAgreed, I was expecting so much more from their 2017 flagship after their introducing the Mi Mix last year. And the removal of 3.5mm jack is a bummer as well. Oh well, going to wait for 6s then. Or even next year maybe. No upgrade for me this year it seems.
I really liked the Xiaomi Mi 5 - one of the best phones I ever owned. However, I was hoping for something more compact in the Mi 6. But at 168 grams, it is nearly 40 grams heavier than the Mi 5 which was only 129 grams. It's also taller and wider, a big let down following their revolutionary MIX. Yes, better internals, but actually the Mi 5's internals were good enough for me. I was looking for OK internals with better compactness than the Mi 5 so I am disappointed in this new phone, from an appearance point of view anyway. The Mi 6 is also heavier than many other phones with a similar display size - like the Huawei P10 for example.
AnonD-337832, 19 Apr 2017reasons why people dont buy mi6.
2.no sd card slot
4.no 3.5mm jack
... more1.lcd. You still complain about pricetag? Amoled will cost double than ips panel
2.no sd card slot, 64gb is enough i think, transfer your file to your laptop/google drive/another cloud storage if you need more storage
3.1080p display, naked eye cannot see different between 1080p and above
4.no 3.5mm jack, use adaptor
5.marshmallow, read carefully, miui 8 based 7.1.1
