The rest is respectable, just that not stand out on everything. No headphone jack and no Micro SD quickly become a trend for flagship smartphone, cannot say is a con, Samsung Galaxy Note 10 the next year also omit these features, but fanboy just keep mouth shut quiet, don't want to admit their expensive Galaxy Note also treat them like idiot.

Battery is average
but but but ..
storage will be slow after 2~3 months and you have to clean flash ROM . always .

This smartphone was worst flagship phone from Xiaomi the same processor that they were using the same processor of Galaxy Note 9 in Asia with the Snapdragon variant while other were using better processor and My Galaxy Note 9 was 100 times better than this garbage 20MP selfie camera which was less pixels shouldn't had put 32 MP or more like 50 MP front camera they copied apple screen design so so so garbage phone poor audio quality and average speaker loudness larger notch display in flagship phone it was while it had NFC and Nano + Nano SIM slot it lacked the headphone jack that's why I never liked Xiaomi that's why I stocked to Oppo R15 Pro instead still use it

I've swapped mine along with the ... morehow's the Nohon battery? does it last like 3-4hrs of heavy gaming?
i have the original battery at 60% health and it only lasted like 1 hr of heavy gaming from 100% to 15%.
my power button, vol button up and down as well are all broken.

I've swapped mine along with the usb charging board and the phone looks like brand new, and i bought mine in november 2018.
The battle scars of my Mi are volume up button that doesn't work anymore and the 3g connectivity that is failing more than usual. Probably gonna open it up again/try to clear the sim slot as soon as I have some time

i have been using it for a while now, and it has never let me down. with a 71% battery life, i can still squeeze 4 hours of screen on time out of it on an aosp custom rom. Still snappy and smooth if its not on MIUI 12. Great little phone

This phone is the best..using it since launch 2018 until now..still working like a beast,its will be lagging if the memory almost full,but when cleared memory,it will be a beast again..very smooth,good size make it a good phone as a daily driver..if xiaomi make a new mi8 with 5000mah battery,i will buy it..no doubt..
