Lolk, 16 Jan 2025Is it easily replaceable with BM47, is there any tutorials on YouTube? Interested to find out more about this as well. This phone still works perfectly after 5 years but the battery is so small, I've already gotten a replacement a year ago but it's degrading again.

I get mi9 now at 2025 jan-feb, waiting 2 weeks for mi-unlock, setup it to iode v.4 its very cute phone, my first los phone with tele.

I am still using MI9.
I am not sure what phone to buy that is good replacement for years to come. It is not about money. It is about every aspect of phone that suits me. New Xiaomi is really awfull with media player and similar things.

i still use this phone for daily activity and as main phone for almost 5 years!! and no issue accept the battery. so i replaced it (with some modification) with BM47 (redmi 3 pro) so i got 4100 mah now, with same physical size.

I have also the M... moreLi-ion batteries last longer than Li-po batteries. try replacing the battery with a new Li-ion battery with the same dimensions, the wires might be different but with a bit of soldering skill it should fit perfectly fine

I have also the M... moreBy Replacing the Battery cell from [mi9], I've never try it on [mi9] but I've already done it to different androids and it works fine, just be sure that the dimension of both batteries are same so it would fit it to the device. all you nead to do is remove the (battery flex) from a51 battery, do the same thing on [mi9], then solder the old (battery flex) of [mi9] to the (battery cell) of A51, be sure that you've solder both the (negative, positive line) of the (battery cell) to the (battery flex) of [mi9]. after you change the battery cell of mi 9, connect it to the mboard and power it, observe if you notice some problems like quick battery draining, is you saw a quick battery draining then change the battery cell it might be defected, but if it's working fine then enjoy. also if you're confuse why your phone is kinda slow at charging after replacing the battery cell, well it is because of the extended MAH of your newly converted battery cell to your device, it is just fine nothing to worry, but never use a higher watts of charger to your phone just use your device original charger. if you use higher watts of charger it might damage the PMI and Charging ic of your device Resulting to be Dead Boot.

Still good after 3+ years of usage and weird someone complaining like I have seen one people blaming Xiaomi faults for this Mi 9 for not not detecting sim while I see some cracks on the display and side frame from the phone. It's obvious the phone was dropped lol why blame Xiaomi I can't understand 💀

I kept it to cool down and then it turned on again.. i found that double tap to wake-up the screen was causing this crash... Disable it and see... Of course if ur phone turn on again... If not try to replace the battery maybe it is dead... Mine 4 years old and the battery still doing good.

Hi,
I've been using my MI9 ever since 2019, overall super happy with the phone, never had any problem with it and the battery lived up to the task (i also dont see why people complain as i thought the battery was always sufficient to last a full day, this includes gaming for 1+ hour a day).
However, i was wondering if anyone has experienced a sudden shut down of the phone. Couple days ago the phone just shut down, i was able to turn it back on using the lateral ON button. However, it happened randomly today and now there is no way i can turn the phone back on (battery levels were fine). Tried every method i could find on the internet but for the time being the phone cant be turned on again.

I dont find any reason to buy new phone... moreYup no reason to upgrade not worth to upgrade if you weren't gaming and onto ultra high camera quality..i compared the display to s23u side by side i love xiaomi more lol samsung display calibration looks dull white appeared to be yellow
