Still good after 3+ years of usage and weird someone complaining like I have seen one people blaming Xiaomi faults for this Mi 9 for not not detecting sim while I see some cracks on the display and side frame from the phone. It's obvious the phone was dropped lol why blame Xiaomi I can't understand 💀

I kept it to cool down and then it turned on again.. i found that double tap to wake-up the screen was causing this crash... Disable it and see... Of course if ur phone turn on again... If not try to replace the battery maybe it is dead... Mine 4 years old and the battery still doing good.

Hi,
I've been using my MI9 ever since 2019, overall super happy with the phone, never had any problem with it and the battery lived up to the task (i also dont see why people complain as i thought the battery was always sufficient to last a full day, this includes gaming for 1+ hour a day).
However, i was wondering if anyone has experienced a sudden shut down of the phone. Couple days ago the phone just shut down, i was able to turn it back on using the lateral ON button. However, it happened randomly today and now there is no way i can turn the phone back on (battery levels were fine). Tried every method i could find on the internet but for the time being the phone cant be turned on again.

I dont find any reason to buy new phone... moreYup no reason to upgrade not worth to upgrade if you weren't gaming and onto ultra high camera quality..i compared the display to s23u side by side i love xiaomi more lol samsung display calibration looks dull white appeared to be yellow

in my place here the price is around 170$, currently using xz1 for 3 years, and back then 2020 buying in used condition

Rey, 02 Nov 2022What's the capacity of the replacement battery?3300mAh, so far so good with replacd battey, im happy. I dont find any reason to buy new phone. Mi 9 still works like a charm, still very smooth. Ofc i got smashed my camera lens buts this is an easy fix

tooagobiao, 27 Aug 2022MIUI 12.5 was the last update, just 27 months after launch Mi 9 and it will not receive more u... moreTry to count months again: that is 39 months (when you wrote your review), and it got main system upg also after 3y. Smaller updates are still comming weekly colse to 4 years after its release date. And the phone itself is working still fast and smooth, screen and photos are still on high level. This is a pretty good phone!
