My personal experience, I think this phone is not compatible with TikTok apps. It's start rebooting itself when I open the app. Then it become worse until the others app also affected. Yesterday I change the new battery. And the problem solved, no more rebooting except when open TikTok. LoL. Now I just get rid the app and have to open it at other device. Because I still love this phone over TikTok.I think TikTok app got something that not compatible with this phone battery. I use this phone from 2020.

My phone shuts down every time I open the camera app or do whatsapp calls. Now I can only use it when it's plugged. I really don't feel like buying a new phone! help!

I've been using mine since 2019 and it's such a good phone. Last week my battery overheated and since then it's been shutting down at times especially when I open apps. Sometimes it drives me crazy! I've been looking at buying a new phone but will miss it.

I have bee using this phone since 2019 and it is amazing in everything and great display, only issue is battery has decreased over the year which is normal. I have s24 ultra now but I am still using m9lite for work.

Though I did update to MIUI 12.5 as soon as it was available back then. Sadly the screen is suffering from smears since the oelophobic coating is nearly gone.

I think this is a great device. I have it over 4 years now and still I'm not sure if I need a new device, it does the job just fine. The battery is around 67% of capacity but I mostly turn off all unnecessary stuff and limit background activity. Also I am on MIUI 12... I think there was update to 12.5 a long time ago but I avoided it for some time and now it disappeared completely.
Other then that I might try to put LineageOS 21 on this device. I think that will give it a year or even two of life. I think 5 years of life for a phone nowadays should be standard and 7 years as a premium instead of barely 2-3 years of support, if that...

Thanks.There are apps (e.g. BatteryOne) that can analyze charging process and determine battery health, the more cycles the more precise the result will be. These apps can also help to minimize wear by keeping charge between 20 ... 80% and warning if temperature is getting too high. Anyway they can calculate actual capacity and predict screen on time to expect.

I have been using this phone for 4 years and I never felt the need of a new one. I think it is a great built and I have dropped it a few times. The only reason I would get a new one is just to have a great camera. If I get a new one, i would still keep this one as I like to have a Jack 3.5
