1. Can both SIM at the same time work in 4G ?
2. What is the signal reception, cellular, WiFi and finally the most important GPS?

Mi9 lite can easily give you two days backup. Besides, it has bigger screen and better cameras. Mi9 Lite is the perfect choice I guess. I regret buying Note 8 Pro as it gets update quite late compared to other models. None should get flooded away with so-called "Popularity". You should get what you need.

seter, 27 Nov 2019had a50 for about 5 month. now got mi 9 lite. pretty satisfied. cons for A50 - fingerprint... moream using MI 9 Lite and the IMX 586 is way better than the camera on samsung a50 , same as the front camera. MIUI 11 is perfect. this is an easy decision really.

ir blaster for tv but mi 9 lite dosnt have blaster for set top box :( i dont know why, this is more useful type ir blaster for global users... xiaomi please upgrade with second update...

cons for A50
- fingerprint works worse than in mi9lite
- battery drains faster. especially with turned on AOD
pros for A50
- thinner than mi9lite
- AOD is in color, mi has it in grayscale and difficult to notice
- 2nd sim card slot
pros for mi9lite
- better battery optimization
- ir blaster. for me very useful
- apparently better camera
- seems to be charging faster. like 20-25 minutes faster
almost no cons.
biggest personal pros - miui system. incredible flexibility and amount of adjustments.
chinese putting everything the best in the system. even into midrangers.
koreans putting best only into flagships. a lot of useful functions are missing.

It has a real bad camera and the worst fingerprint scanner I've ever used. Fortunately I still had my A2 as a backup. Now looking to upgrade to a Mi 9T or Mi 9 lite.

Hello mobile fans.
If anyone has used both phones:
Samsung A50 and Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite;
is there something worth saying that could help buyers to decide? Even though pecifications are out there, pretty much everything is known, it's still helpful if you point out something.
However I'm talking primarily about personal experience in dealing with those two phones. Has one of them disappointed you greatly and in which way?
For me, I'm kinda wary of glass phones. Plastic is lighter than glass and absorbers shock better. I prefer:
metal > plastic > glass
So I would choose A50 if it were that only.
But Mi 9 Lite has several advantages. It has more RAM, 6 vs 4 for A50, which is important and also it comes with a battery of same size but it's a better performing battery according to all tests out there.
Can I be confident that its battery will keep performing better after receiving updates and with usual decline or maybe it turns out A50 has a better battery after couple of months?
If battery remains better and with extra RAM maybe I could embrace glass.
Anyone having SAR problems?
Cca 1.4 for Mi 9 Lite, cca 0.3 for A50.
