If you want a better battery life, awesome media experience and great display, go for Mi9 Lite. AMOLED display requires less battery. At the same time, colours are quite vivid. Sd 710 provides flagship performance. Sd 665 is still good. But you may face lag in 1 or two years, now choice is upto you.

miboys, 23 Nov 2019hi. anyone experienced screen burn in mi 9 lite? or amoled burn is not an issue anymore?Scree burn-in happens even on IPS LCD, it's not specific to amoled. The main reason is using the screen at a high level of brightness for long hours (gaming, sunlight, gps guide when driving ...) better to set the brightness manually under 50%. Don't use automatic !

It has lesser CPU and GPU but better front cam, battery and option for sd card. Why call it anything else?
Further testing find face unlock fast and light reliable (bit of light it still works). Tempered glass installed and finger prints work fine (now just left and right thumb after factory reset). Minor bug prevalent after factory reset is sd card is misrepresent in system settings. 260gb shows even though I formatted to a 242gb Fat32 partition between 4gb beginning and ending blank space in attempts of troubleshooting on a 256gb Kingston card.
Initially I found battery draining at high points initially after set-up and update to Miui 11. Since then I've factory reset and rather than restore 120+ app backups from a previous phone I've set up manually. So far 50 apps installed and have not seen the drops on the graph. I'm just suggesting a factory reset if you've got battery drain after the update. It's not exact science. It could be one of the other 70 apps I've yet to install or a combination
I need your help with an honest opinion about what it is best to buy between the Mi 9 Lite and the Pocophone F1 from someone who has used them both, assuming that both smartphones cost the same (currently the F1 is more expensive in Amazon US), which would recommend me beyond the chipset and power, which has better price/features ratio in the practice of daily use (camera, screen, autonomy, connections). Thank you.
This phone should have been called the Mi A3 Pro and should run Android One, instead squeeze it into the already crowded Mi9 bunch.
Hi, I have just bought a Mi 9 Lite, coming from a Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 plus.
First impressions are good even though it seems I'm meeting troubles with the light sensor: when set to automatic it always brings to a very low light, so I go to the top screen and move the slide to right, it remains ok for a while and then it seems it becomes darker at once. I don't know, the Note 3 had not this trouble.
As for the pictures, it was supposed to be much more better, but with a test I made yesterday I did not see such a lot of improvement, in a day light picture they look the same...
Why no dedicated SD card slot? 😭 120GB is not enough space. This phone is almost perfect with dual sim, aptX HD and great camera.
