They are the same phone but CC9 us Chinese edition and 9 Lite is Global Edition. No difference except software.

6,4" Super AMOLED screen with Gorilla Glass 5? SD card? Relatively large 4030 mAh battery? Snapdragon, so theoretically no overheating as suspected with Redmi Note 8 Pro? Is the sound that really bad, as all other mentioned specs seem exactly what I need, and can't find a mixture of them in any other phone at a reasonable price. I don't care about performance or camera by the way, and use headphones rarely, so the sound from the speaker matters mainly.

I'd wait for 9 Lite review coming soon to learn full information. Then decide based on that and the price which is better option. I could have 9 Lite way cheaper than 9T from local seller (also thanks to SD support) so it seems both are relevant.
