Think this is rubbish phone all except display and looking.
Mining on software. OOB, software is a garbage. Proximity have a big problem, no option Prevent Pocket Dials (extremely needed), accidental unlockings etc, etc, etc...
BUT after bootloader unlocking and XEU ROM flashing it's a complete transformation and a totally other phone with any recommendation (battery still have some drain issue :( )

NFC OK? Can change the firmware from global ver to chinese?
My other NFC's phone already jammed today, so I must purcase another one asap.

A8 was a good phone. But it's time is almost passed.
In many ways, for example back camera, 6gb of ram, getting more OS updates in future(as it's newer), better design, etc., mi9 SE surpasses A8 2018.

Battery is too weak for this device I m big fan of xiaomi phone but this time I go for Samsung A 50

Just used GCAM for MI 9 SE and stop using the default camera. Everything will be much better :) especially the full hd 60fps video recording, it's very awesome..

There is no sharp design feeling in contrast to mi 8 and the feel is very premium. I can compare it to S10e compact design.. Camera is very much better on mi 9 se (sony imx 586 vs imx 363). Front camera is also better on mi 9 se. for the chipset, mi 8 is definitely the much better (sd 845 vs sd 712) but you wont notice it in daily basis or even in 3d intensive games. Camera OIS in mi 8 is an edge in comparison for EIS of mi 9 se but it also works pretty well. Speaker is much better for mi 9 se vs mi 8.

why so bad battery life!!! would like to buy, but only and very big problem, battery and battery life too bad! why not 4000mAh? if would be 4000mAh battery then would buy. otherwise good phone, but because weak battery, cannot buy.
