Anonymous, 01 Mar 2020Hi there can anyone help me to decide between Mi 9t & Mi 9se which one to buy and thw ghos... moreI have mi9se, my wife mi9t, difference: mine is smaller more handy just as I wanted, but my wife watch everything on the phone, for me too small, i do it on comp, and one more important difference, in mi9t you cant really use face recognition to open your phone, and this is what you do 1000 times a day, because of the camera that is coming up, totally annoying, you have to use your finger and this doesnt work perfect on neither xiaomi, actually it was bummer for me after huawei nova which had back panel finger recognition and work perfect and fast, but in mine mi9se work face recognition which saved the day for me, enough to look at the camera and it opens, my wife has to fight with fron panel finger recognition which is total defeat

I have the latest software and have no issues. They corrected the auto brightness which was very low in dark areas, so i cant complain about this phone. Excellent form factor.

The last update for meiu android update killed my 48 mpx camera! When I bought my phone it has excellent 48 mpx camera! I could crop easily and there were no lines and now it's totally sucks, I can't edit now properly. I think xiaomi copied Samsung camera feature. Because I had same problem with my Samsung s6 edge! All I want they return 48 mpx camera original factory features

My phone has a problem like it's working by itself which is very annoying! Sometimes working well like it has no problem. But facing this problem very often! 7 months after buying this phone, started this problem! Can anyone suggest whether the problem in touch or in mother board. I bought this phone from China (Chinese version) and using it here in Bangladesh.

Really a compact beautiful smartphone and it gets the job done for me! I got it pretty cheap too around 152$ (used).

Great performance and look but all another is garbage!
My 1st phone has proximity issue. My 2nd phone has no proximity issue but has random turns off. Sometimes once in week or a two but sometimes 6-7x at a timeand retailer returned me a money for a fault phone...
Xiaomi never worked to solve common problems of this model :(

Do u recommend updates?
I've just bought it my first xiaomi phone ! Overall looks great. In the first hours no major issues but after using it got a little bit WARM... NOT OVERHEATING but still didn't expect that
Anyway its on miui 10 do u recommend me going to miui 11? Some says that updates on the longterm for older devices makes them slower and worse! I'm so confused

After about 8 months of using the phone I can say I am generally happy however there are several downsides:
- small battery (but hey, I new how it's gonna be);
- no jack can be pain in a... back;
- UWA sensor is really poor... a pity as it would've been a great functionality!;
- there are some issues with proximity (phone getting unlocked during calls) and light sensors (phone sometimes constantly changing brightness from dark to bright and back without being even moved).
Besides that it's great :D the form factor (pls give us more 6'' better phones!), screen and capabilities make it an awesome phone and some issues (battery, jack, poor UWA camera) may be overlooked considering relatively low price.
