Still an awesome phone. I've had it since october of 2019 and it has never failed....it has only once had a bit of a loose back cover, but it was already 4 years old by then and survived 3 months of 36+ degrees in Spain. I replaced the battery a year ago and the health is back at top. Before it was at 76% health...the new battery (after 1 year) is now at 93%. Android 14, smooth display (easy overclock to 90hz on some custom roms), no privacy-invading front camera because it pops up, and more.
I will probably keep it till it literally dies...which is gonna take some time I guess

YCC, 27 Mar 2024Use this phone 9T Pro since Dec 2019, except the battery health, all still working fine..... h... moreMy battery is still going strong but I try to keep it between 40-75%, AccA literally halts charging after 75% and I have only used fast charging a handful of times. It's frustrating Xiaomi didn't integrate these features into the Mi9T Pro reduce battery waste - as a DIY battery replacement on this device looks like a nightmare. I could feasibly see myself using this phone for another few years. Mine is still mint condition, the battery will be what wears out I suspect.

jumping from using the vivo y81i to the mi 9T pro is way too much, love the camera and yes, I'm commenting on the mi 9T pro

I got this phone back in November 2019 and I am still using it with no problems at all. There are some improvements to be had but its very minor like Wifi detection and connections speed. Battery still last for the day with normal use with like 10 percent left before recharging for the night. I shall probably replace it with Mi 14 pro because the last security patch was like August 2021 lol.

Thanks...I got the phone and used Evo x and pixel exp custom Roms and both did great but they don't have good battery standby and Evo tends to overheat more so I decided to flash CrDroid and in my own experience it is just the best... Good battery standby and nice features too and the overheating is gone...

You have to unlock bootloader first then you have to flash a custom recovery and after you will be able to flash a custom ROM of your choice. You can flash custom ROM based on a11 or a12 or a13 or even the latest Android 14.
It was my best decision to purchase this phone. Camera is very good and build quality is good also.

I decided to buy, Mi 9T Pro, two weeks later. Currently, I'm Oppo Reno2 Z user and those phones have Pup-Up cameras. I will keep my Oppo to use, Mi 9T Pro slighlty shorter size, but faster CPU & GPU... I will reach 8.000 Mah Battery Sizes and 2 Different GSM lines with 2×2 SIM Card Slots... I'm affordable best phones guy.

It's still going great
I would prefer to use this over some other mid-range phone.
The only con is no 5g. Other than that i don't see any.
btw I'm using voltageOS. It is one of the best custom rom for daily use. Very good battery life.
And with gcam it can click amazing and very clear shots.

Hiswill, 27 Oct 2023How is the experience with custom and getting the phone 64gb or pixe 4a which is more advisableI don't particularly recommend the pixel 4a as the snapdragon 730G (or 765G for 4a 5G) is too weak to run 2023 apps smoothly

Been using this since 2020, and it been serving me well all these times. Overall is ok, had sudden CPU spike causing phone to heat and cannot identify the reason, but i haven't face it anymore. This phone does not support VoLTE, therefore if your provider shutting down 3G, you need to drop to 2G to receive call. Display color is superb, did not have any burn in screen.
