Gem.. I wont sell my Mi 9T Pro because you won't be able to buy a smartphone with pop-up selfie camera like this in the future... I will wait under screen camera to be implemented perfectly before i decide to upgrade...
Just little to small screen (not even 6.7 inch), but in all other aspects it's best phone that I ever used.
zEUS, 24 Nov 2021And till now, no other phone got the same flagship killer title as the MI 9T pro.Me too!
very happy with phone, screen, battery, fingerprint reader, fast charging all impressive for £200.Puts a lot of flaghip phones to shame.

Alaninkawasaki, 19 Nov 2021Hi. How's the battery after a year? Thanks a lot. It's acceptable at first but now it suck. Mind you that I have XZ2 compact also. And it's battery life is still better than Mi 9T.

I bought this phone in 2019. With its full screen (92% screen size) and pop-up front camera system, it managed to make me fall in love with it. Sadly they stopped using the pop-up system on new phones. We were able to have it in a single generation, I would like this technology to develop further. Because it bothered me that there was a camera at the front, even if it was just a dot, thanks to Mi 9T Pro we got rid of it completely.
Moreover, this device was the killer of all flagships of 2019 with its Snapdragon 855 processor. Because it was half price!
It would be a complete idiocy to see this device and not buy it. It's a great phone for its price, design and performance. I love having an on-screen fingerprint reader (I don't really like the ones on the side power button). I still continue to use it today and I believe that I will continue to use it for many years. Moreover, I liked it so much that I recently bought a second one for myself. Just in case, as a backup.
Of course, every good thing has its downsides. If I talk about the cons:
- Does not support 5G
- Does not support microSDXC
- Can't record 8K video
- EIS not working at 4K 60FPS (working at 30FPS)
- Has mono speaker (wish it was stereo)
- 60 Hz refresh rate
- Android 11 is the last update it will get
It's an amazing phone. Thank you Xiaomi for 'raphael' device!

I've been using mine since March 2020 and seem to have a bad device. I've repaired the motorized popup camera (replaced motor + camera) and the battery needs replacing as well because mine seems to be bulging now.
The good thing is that this is very easy to do and the replacement parts are very affordable.
Jonathan , 29 Apr 2021Yes, it is. Worth the money.mine is flame blue 6/64gb from 2019. did change battery once, Now starting to worn out but still usable.
everything nice interm of speed , camera , screen , battery life, audio quality (with 3.5mm) , charging speed. Except you will get only mono speaker and only 60hz screen and protection case / screen slightly hard to find these day.
other that worth for use it.
Will this phone receive the MIUI 21.5 enhanced update?
Wow! Two year old Mid-ranger has better cameras and build quality than hot Mid Rangers right now I.e.,Galaxy A52, Poco F3 and Realme Gt Neo
Have this phone since the mouth it came out back in 2019 and I am still refusing to upgrade to a newer phone, this is the best phone I ever had(bang for the buck) and no other phone came out after it that could match that!
True, does not have 5G or high refresh rate screen, and facebook(app and messenger) crashes and glitches from time to time, but besides this the phone is still top notch in 2021, I can play any game I like at high settings, has a gorgeous display(only 60Hz) a good set of cameras(no optical stabilisation), loud and good speaker(single), solid build and gorgeous design.
If I had to replace this phone today I would buy the same one.
I've been using this phone since September 2019, and the problem that still exists are: 1. Tethering, i cant tether my internet to others phones, it's actually a big plus for me, but not when i really need it. 2. I can't post videos more than 15 second on my Instagram. 3. Since i updated to the latest MIUI 12.5.0.1, the battery drains a lot faster.
