There are few reviews already, mostly from India-for their market. Marketing in order to sell something is always present,so we deserve full review from GSM arena,as fast as possible..
Almost seems too good to be true. Mostly a no-compromise budget device. Snapdragon 625 should offer decent performance and stellar battery life, acceptable camera performance (for the price), USB-C and a headphone jack with amplifier, nice big 5,5" screen and I actually personally prefer those physical keys to software keys. Dual-SIM and 64GB storage, 4GB RAM for multitasking. Pure Google stock Android with few Xiaomi enhancements (Mi store, Mi remote and Mi camera app), the Moto way. I bet Lenovo is pretty scared right now, Mi A1 seems to pretty much MURDER G5S Plus in every way. Pretty much the only bummer is that missing NFC sensor, but NFC is not something I've found much use for, so I can live with it.
Looking forward to the reviews, hopefully Xiaomi wont blew it.
This is my next phone, hands down...
Xiaomi + Vanilla Android, waited for this...
Anonymous, 08 Sep 2017there is mi cloud or any mi application in Mi A1 except Mi Camera Mi remote and feedback appNo friend you want mi app you download at play store
In terms of reliability and quality which phone is better?? Moto g5s plus or mi a1??
There are many cases registered in India regarding Redmi Note 4 phone blasts... it's like carrying a bomb.. People lost trust in MI moreover the Chinese brands.. Does this phone too follows same... or MI company has taken required modifications like improving quality of the battery used and other necessary actions!
Anonymous, 08 Sep 201715k for what?? Sd 625? 3080 mah?? Dual camera gimmick? iPhone clone?? K8 note is a much better... moreyou taking like a noob. they added dual camera and you calling it a gimmick. They also added a audio amplifier which you might not what it is and type c port. two years of update with two major Android versions. I think you are a 15 year old comparing only numbers and not the hardware.
Anonymous, 09 Sep 2017It heats when playing intensive games 40.5 * C and when using camera. Free ram 1.8gb out of 4G... more40.8 degree Celsius is considered warm and no where near hot. if you want more free RAM why you buying 4gb RAM device. RAM is there for using and Android can manage RAM just fine.
A almost perfect phone for a light user.
The only thing i don't like in this phone is it's shape...
it seems that this phone is trying hard to like an iPhone and i hate that.... :/
AB, 07 Sep 2017Mi A1 or Moto G5S Plus ? Which is Better ? Overall Mi A1 is much better
It heats when playing intensive games 40.5 * C and when using camera. Free ram 1.8gb out of 4GB. To low
Xiaomi's use of SD625 in nearly every phone it makes is disturbing. The company use to put in its midrange devices, better chipsets than its competitors, until about six months ago. Now, they all have SD625 inside. A weak processor with lower power to application relevance equal to the old SD808...
amlboeton, 08 Sep 2017Come on dude, this is midrange phone. Want to get ois or eis, go buy flagship phone Thats true. lmao
Anonymous, 08 Sep 201715k for what?? Sd 625? 3080 mah?? Dual camera gimmick? iPhone clone?? K8 note is a much better... morePURE Android, dual camera(that actually works), snapdragon 625.i think it is a great phone.
Anonymous, 08 Sep 2017S625 is not middle range anymore...there are Helio X23/25/30 and S660 that going to be middler... moreU kidding? I play Asphalt 8 on my Redmi Note 4 Snapdragon with 0 frame drops..
