Anonymous, 10 Nov 2017What's the front camera like? Does it have a front screen flash in low light?
Does anyone kno... moreNo flash for front camera, this is not a selfie oriented phone like Vivo V7+, Honor 9i, main selling point is Pure Android super smooth experience.
There is EIS since last month.

Is battery life affected after updating to October patch?

CuriousCat, 10 Nov 2017Hi, how was the display of this phone compared to samsung j7 pro? Also, is there a good 'notes... moreYes Google has an note apps called Google Keep.
J Pro win in low light photo
MiA1 win in smoothness & fast update
RN4 win in long battery life
As for the screen J Pro brighter but color is saturated, MiA1 show more accurate color but lack of vibrance.
Depends what you looking for.
For me i prefer MiA1 due to stock Android very smooth & bigger 64GB ROM 4GB RAM, MIUI & Touch Wizz is kind of heavy UI.

Anonymous, 09 Nov 2017Which is better xiaomi Mi A1 or Mi 5? For colour gamut display...Samsung Note 8 or iPhone X
Very poor signal reception, showing full bars on status but signal strength is -105dbm
Xiaomi has a heating issue or not?
Please anyone tell me!
Because I saw that people are commenting on YouTube about heating issues in "mi A1".
Rajinders, 09 Nov 2017..but then one would loss the Depth of Field in the photos. A very large aperture is not desi... moreMost if not almost all of us uses Phone Camera for casual photo taking rather than professional photography.
So in many occasions we would need to take photos is low light condition such as night outing photo, dinner gathering, restaurants, party & etc
This is the moment where MiA1 failed to capture low light photo with acceptable result, I understand that a phone camera will always be a phone camera & we can't compare with real digital camera, having says that when compare MiA1 camera for low light shot even to a 2-3 years old Samsung mid range, MiA1 still loss, the results are grainy photo with inaccurate color of the photo.j
This is why i said Xiaomi should have at least give a F1.9, All i expect is merely Samsung J or A aeries low light photo result, not asking for S or Note series camera ability.
Xiaomi phone camera is among the weakest in term of low light photo for top selling brand, I hope Xioami would work on this.

I am using it in Romania, and so far there aren't any problems with it, on the contrary it is an amazing device. I wouldn't recommend any flagship over this. Don't waste your money, this device is almost perfect. My only complain is the low light performance of the camera, other than that, it's fantastic

One has to go for the optimum size in order to get well focused and un-distorted Images.
I'm currently using p9 lite. Is it worth if I will replace my p9 lite for xiaomi a1? Thanks
AnonD-321690, 09 Nov 2017Super camera phoneThis i disagree despite been a owner of MiA1 low light photo really struggle, at time i need to set the flash on in every shot to compensate the drawback, but when there is adequate light the camera is good.
Xiaomi should have uses F1.9 instead, the F2.2 & F2.6 struggling in low light.
i have to ask. is this MI A1 is the good 1 ?. anyone have tryed it ? tell me your idea
