I bought Xiaomi A1 5 months ago, Great phone with fast & clean operating system As expected from Android one phone to be with unbeatable price. I won't talk about phone specification as it's obvious. I use it with no modification nor using stupid launchers apps, Only thing I change dialer app(Google has retarded one).
I used to have Huawei honor 6 before and used it for 4 years until battery give up and was considering only Huawei phones but with their Paris Hilton price tag dropped them off my list and android one program really interest me into this phone.
Xiaomi A1 phone with great design and simple look combine with fast clean operating system with 2 years free monthly updates.
looking forward to Xiaomi A3 near future.

Nikku, 09 Jun 2018Radiation bit higher anyone experienced this..? Yes, prolonged phone call will make you headache.
Avoid this phone by all mean.
Am sure am not the only but the 2nd May update broke a lot of things. Instead of just a simple security update, we got more than we asked for.
I have this 7 months old phone and it used to work nicely until this new update in which I have network fluctuations from 3g to 4g continuously and while on the call I hear dial pad beeps and brightness enhances automatically and sometimes Bluetooth and wifi turns on and all this except network issue happens while I'm on a call.
Chinese products in the end reminds us their worth.
Although this phone is perfect but surely need to fix this network fluctuation issue
i bought a Xiaomi A1 and i updated to 8.0 . After that my phone has few issues
1. Screen started to glitch
2. The audio on call got very low
3. Apps are getting closed.
And i look on other forums and it seems that im not the only one. The hardware is very good for the money but the os is very buggy.

I have owned my A1 for two months now and I think it's a great phone. No lags, great multitasking with the 4GB of RAM, great battery performance, solid build quality, good display, IR blaster, 2X optical zoom, nice pictures and better selfies with the Open Camera app.
Only cons are earphone hiss noise and excessive screen brightness at maximum level, but I'm using the YAAB brightness control app and works great. Another problem is that although the hardware had FM radio, the software does not have the app and I have to use QuickFM app which only works with the screen on and is kind of a hardware test app.
I would certainly recommend it. I'm hoping I can have the A2 in the future.
