KartKN, 11 Sep 2017****A1 doesn't support quick charge!?****
This is probably the biggest con stopping someone l... moreI am a vibe p1 user and was confused btw honor 8, mi a1 and Moto g5s plus. The thing I was also disliking was the prob u mentioned. Yes, the lack of fast charger. But after referring geekyranjit reviews, am happy to see that charging time do not exceed 2hrs. And i.e, the cycle is like 14% to 80% in 1 hr. My charging cycle is like from 20% - 25% to 80% - 85% . This may take around 1 hr like my vibe p1 now takes. So this time is usual for me and prob solved.
The cons I observed in mi a1 are like slow fingerprint unlock, comparitively bad low light camera performance. I think the next update will fix fingerprint. But the low light performance depends on the aperture of lens and no update may fix the low light performance.
Overall I like this phone and looking forward. Missed the flash sale yesterday. Hope to get it next time.
rafiq, 12 Sep 2017would u prefer honor 8 or mi a1 for midrange phone. need some suggestionI was also confused btw these mobiles. I heard honor 8 was available for as low as 17k. But when I checked , I found it's rate above 20k as maybe it's because they have provided naugat update for the phone which provides volte support. The camera of honor is undoubtedly better. But the model available in India is having only single sim capability. The battery performance is also lower than mi a1. So I think u better go your requirements and budget.
Hope this helps :)
It's a good set and price of Rs 15k too looks reasonable. Should be available on Flipkart.
Why just 3080 mAh battery even folks are complaining about Nokia 8 3090 even though Nokia has a bit smaller screen.
I think they should have done something like Xiaomi note 4 4100mAh.
Dude_X, 12 Sep 2017Which one is best: Moto G5 S+, Lenovo K8 Note or Mi A1(5X). the best is Oukitel K10000 PRO with most powerful battery of 10 000 mAh
The camera,I won't say its superb. But its not bad at all.
Such dual camera quality in budget is good and well acceptable. And I wish they would have given a front flash. Nevertheless,a great smartphone under budget. Happy with it.
Anonymous, 12 Sep 2017How's the GPS? I saw a review of 5X and its GPS sucked (Used, like, 10-12 sattelites and accur... moreThe GPS worked fine.
And after using this phone, I feel this is the budget phone I was waiting for.
Dual camera,4gb RAM/64gbROM, a good protection on screen and etc...
I won't say a bad side, but the battery lasts a day with normal regular tasks and stays around 15% of charge.
But if u use mobile data and other apps, bit heavily,u might need a power bank support in the afternoon.
Ignoring this as no smartphone has everything, this phone is really awesome.can't be compared as its a totally different phone. As said by the company, the A1 will receive Oreo by the end of this year. So hoping for the best. Fingers crossed.
And I'd recommend to buy the A1. Coz nobody would like to install the android one settings manually in their 5X phones.

Rajinders, 12 Sep 2017Will someone confirm the existence of FM Radio in this phone ..... because if I have not heard... moreIndian version doesnt have FM Radio.. (usually pure android doesnt include FM Radio app)
Lets hope somebody will port Xiaomi's FM Radio app to Mi A1
stork321, 12 Sep 2017Can someone confirm if it has NFC?No nfc
would u prefer honor 8 or mi a1 for midrange phone. need some suggestion
I think MI A1 is one of the best smartphone available in market. Photo quality is superb, cnt be compared with one plus 5; however, in 15k rs it is superb. it look very premium. I think if someone is planning to take this mobile take.
Will someone confirm the existence of FM Radio in this phone ..... because if I have not heard wrongly ..then one reviewer has said the absence of FM Radio .....which is in contradiction to what GSMArena has specced here.
Wish I heard it wrongly.
