Hey everyone. I've been using the Xiaomi Mi A1 for a while now, and I can say that I absolutely love this phone! If you have any question regarding this phone, feel free to ask me. I will answer your question as truthfully and unbiased as possible. Cheers :)
Anonymous, 29 Oct 2017Please don't buy any phones from Flipkart!
Flipkart mentions the seller's name as Truenet Com... moreThe thing is that there are two memory unit counting systems - decimal (divides by 1000) and binary (divides by 1024). Any operating system uses the second one, while any BIOS (or firmware) uses the first. So 1 BG of RAM = 1000 MB = 1 000 000 KB = 1000000000 B, but when the OS calculates it it goes 1 GB = 1024 MB = 1048576 KB = 1073741824 B and that's where the difference comes from. It's the manufacturers fault, it's always like that, with every system and every hardware.

They are all made in China, since Xiaomi is a Chinese brand. I've had bad experience with Xiaomi Redmi 4X. It had network and heating even on the first day, but so far the Mi A1 doesn't exibit the same issues.
Hi Guys. I just want to ask which one is better Samasung J7 (2017) or Xiaomi MI A1.
Plz guys I wanted to buy mi A1 but I like black colour
But I saw on YouTube that black variant is made in china and it having network heating and much more issues
Should I buy black or wait for gold availability?
Does Mi A1 really support LTE Band 20, according to GSMARENA? In its website, it does not say so. Can anyone from Europe confirm this?
mubey, 29 Oct 2017it has best phone but it has no bluring camera..why?Bokeh effect is the highlight of the duo lense camera of MiA1, either you don't have this phone or you are dreaming.
AnonD-711613, 29 Oct 2017I need your suggestion, Mi A1 or galaxy s6? Please reply, thanks!S6 has better camera for overall use. It has water protection too.
Mi A1 has far better stereo loudspeakers, expandable memory, FM, 2nd zoom in camera, etc.
Choose what is best for your needs.
I suggest getting Mi A1, but if you go for S6, then skip it and go for S7. S7 has even better camera and its an awesome and fast phone.

Anonymous, 29 Oct 2017You think wrongly, MiA1 does have FM Radio, I have been using it for sometimes.
So stop thi... moreIt has, but it is very annoying that there is no button to open it: you first have to open the service menu to access it. And it sucks since I use it a lot!
But anyway, it is there, and once you find it it works really decent.
Maybe a solution is to save a phone number that gives you access to the service menu, so it doesn't cost you as much time.
Here are some ways to do it.
But still: it is annoying. Sometimes I use the FM radio together with Google Maps when I am cycling, but I can't do this on the Xiaomi Mi A1 phone because you cannot do other things when the service menu is opened.
I got it too since 2 days.
I think it is an awesome device: I never had any device in my hand that felt so fast and smooth, I didn't experience any lag.
The screen is very decent, and I think way brighter than the official specs say, but maybe the display differs slightly among phones, but I am not sure about this.
My previous phone is a Sony Xperia Z2, and I think the camera is a serious downgrade, although it may take some time to get used to the camera and its interface. I think the camera is much harder to use, since you really need a steady hand to make a decent photo. Many pictures I made so far weren't very sharp, while others were great.
For me, low light pictures aren't the biggest issue, but that is probably because I came from a 2014 device, but Sony's aren't great for low light pictures.
I do not think the camera isn't capable of taking any great pictures, but I feel the fail-success rate on my old phone was better.
