Mobile is heating while in charge and front camera is not much good.but budget mobile.
Camera is sucks big time, even considered for standard mobilephone's one.
Noise is everywhere even photos taken outdoor.
9 out of 10 photos taken are showing severe grainy result.
Excessive sharpening process destroy almost all portraits of people's faces. You cannot use this camera for making memories of your loved ones. Unless you shot photos of scenery or animals.
Dynamic range is poor. Almost all photos turned out blown with pale skintone.
Not seeing any improvements in every update.
Yes this is a mobile camera, yes I know its not a DSLR.
The real point is, I have taken much more good photos out from other mid-range cameraphone from 2014 or from the ancient Nokia Nseries.
Other than camera departments, this phone has no other major issue.
I bought this after reading mostly positive reviews from all over google. Turns out it's a wrong decision.
If you want a camera performance stay away from this one
I have the device for 8 months, I updated it to Android pie and then I did the Factory Restore and everything works smooth.
Even recording calls works properly, the phone runs much faster and the battery charges faster.
I've seen people complaining about the update here, but I have not experienced any problems, and more than that, the phone works wonderfully.
Based on the money I invested in it, the value is excellent! highly recommend
I bought and have been using this phone for half a week and I'm really pleased – especially considering its low price. Very fast and free from bloatware.
It came with Android 8.1.0 and the November Security Update.
I've read several negative comments about its performance with Android 9 (Pie?), so I've disabled System Updates. I'd like to hear more reviews and impressions about the performance of this smartphone with Android 9; please share :)
Question: it tells me that there's a May Security Update available, of roughly 1GB in size. Installing a Security Update doesn't mean to upgrade the Android OS to version 9, right? But why is this update so large then? Do you suggest to install it?
Everything good when you not yet update. But when I update Android 9 everything become terrible. Some problem not good as:
- Battery time bad
- Can not use sim GSM 1800MHZ (I'm in Viet Nam and using Gmobile operator)
- When you press power button let turn off SCR it's auto active on camera
- Auto adjust light from 0%-70%. Including you adjust manual mode it's still auto adjust.
Bought this phone last month and upgrade it immediately to pie before install any apps. Everything works and battery last for two days with screen usage around 7-8 hours which is the best you can get. Only cons for me Facebook video a bit stuttering, but I can live with that. YouTube video works flawless even in 1080p. Very good phone for the tight budget.
Anonymous, 05 Jun 2019is this upgradable to Android Q?Not as yet, and I would guess unlikely to be included in any further Q betas. However due to the android one program it will almost certainly receive a Q update hopefully not to long after the stable android 10 release.
is the battery draining fast? as it has MIUI and Android One? I saw comments that Android One isa better that MIUI?
Natt, 31 May 2019Is a2 lite worth buying in 2019? It fits my budget, and is not as huge as majority of smartpho... moreyes, it is absolutely worth it, its a very good and lightweight phone, no bloatware etc
Wanted to buy it because of its price, then read that xiaomi phones have high SAR. Now not so sure what to do.
Is a2 lite worth buying in 2019? It fits my budget, and is not as huge as majority of smartphones nowdays. I don't play games. Need a phone for calls, sms, viber, email, music, net surfing, book reading, youtube, dailymotion...
It was a perfect phone until i upgraded it to PIE. Since then, Whatsapp is not sending voice notes, at times not even text when on WIFI. The workaround is to use a VPN then it works, but this is not the right solution. I thought it will be rectified in future upgrades, but since my upgrade to PIE, there have been at least 4 security upgrades but none solves this issue. I understand that it is not possible to downgrade it back to Android 8. Also surprisingly this issue is not listed anywhere. Can anybody please advise what to do??
