I'm using mi5s, and i hope they can customize and sell android one firmware for it 😗
It have same specs as mi cc9e but it has priced of mi cc9 why its better to take mi cc9 if mi a3 has same price as mi cc9 its to take better mi cc9
SynthConn, 30 Jul 2019Was hoping for one, and thus becoming my new device... well shoo!!!Hmmm not a good idea going 720p res because I can already see the pixels on my 5.9 inch 1080p screen other than that and the processor which I can name a couple more devices at the same price with better chips is an okay device
Anonymous, 29 Jul 2019There is NFC on this device. Was hoping for one, and thus becoming my new device... well shoo!!!
Anonymous, 29 Jul 2019There is NFC on this device. Please provide proof.
lara21, 29 Jul 2019No NFC, no buy! I love this device and i expected to have NFC on the next version. Too bad, ... moreThere is NFC on this device.
I use a Honor 10 phone, 5.84 inch display and 720p resolution, 288ppi. I Have no issue using it whatsoever, as colors are good and I can't notice pixels.
This AMOLED will surely look good enough for 99% of users. It's just the numbers that bother all of you.
The lack of NFC is a much much bigger issue here, but some don't even use it.
Camera is great, battery is great, software is great. This will be a good mid-range for users who don't need NFC.
Anonymous, 28 Jul 2019I had a 5.5" screen 720p, pixels were clearly visible, can't imagine in a 6" or more screen, a... moreThis doesn't apply to all AMOLED displays. Galaxy S2 - RGB, Galaxy J5 2015 - Diamond Pentile, Galaxy J7 Nxt - RGBG Pentile.
My J7 Nxt (267ppi) seems significantly sharper than my dad's J5 (294ppi, 188ppi effective).
A typical RGB matrix would show its true ppi, it has 3 subpixels. Diamond Pentile has 2 subpixels with a circular green subpixel. RGBG (or RGB, in GSMArena's terms) also has 2 subpixels also with an extra green (in some cases, blue) subpixel, but it's rectangular, in other words 2 subpixels, but 3 effective.
If you see an AMOLED Diamond Pentile display with a ppi of 441 or higher, you should be fine as the effective ppi would be 294, you can't really see pixels at that ppi.
To conclude, RGB and RGBG will be fine, but Diamond Pentile is something to avoid when it comes to 720p and 1080p (depending on screen size) displays.
If you want to see RGBG, go to the Galaxy A7 (2016) review, for Diamond Pentile, go to
the OnePlus 3 review, both have 5.5" 1080p displays.
The difference between Super AMOLED and AMOLED is that sAMOLED has the digitizer integrated to the display. Not much difference in real life though, barely noticeable.
Hope this helped :)
happyendingbro , 29 Jul 2019Yeah... I guess 720p is enough for me.
No offence to other people but personally I feel it’... moreThe iphone se isn't a 1080p :DDD
It's a 640p
I own an Iphone se too and I'm looking forward to switching with the mi a3.
I'm not sure though... I feel like 720p isn't enough for me.
No NFC, no buy!
I love this device and i expected to have NFC on the next version.
Too bad, it's a great device, but i need NFC and i want something with Android One.
Every brand fights at the camera megapixels but forgot functionality. NFC it's a must in these days!
Great OS, good hardware, but no vision and adaptability for the market.
There's no way this has a pentile screen right?
This has become a bit of a habit for Xiaomi now, a whole lot of new devices and a whole lot of poor choices. Xiaomi is trying to do with brands like Samsung previously did. At 250 Euros this phone definitely needed a 1080p screen specially given the screen size. For a stock android experience you should now have to make that large of a compromise.
Still no NFC? 🤔
DroidBoye, 28 Jul 2019Yeah, preference, it matters. But 720p is not bad as most people would downrate it to. I have ... moreYeah... I guess 720p is enough for me.
No offence to other people but personally I feel it’s a great phone, I am someone who look for a software which is pure and less bloatware.
This phone for me is a very good deal.
I know they compromised the display to 720p BUT you have a great camera AND (maybe) a battery that can last you a day or 2.
My personal phone is an iPhone SE with 1080p display and a office OPPO A3S with 720p, for me I can’t really notice any difference between these 2.

Raafi Rezkia Pratama, 28 Jul 2019Mi A3 or Galaxy A50I have A50, it's a good phone but One UI can't compare with stock Android fluidity and speed.
WOrld1, 27 Jul 2019PPI is about 282 on paper, but because pentile amoled is even low than that so it's a problemPentile displays seem to be about 2/3 of the stated pixel density. So this would be 188, similar to a 5" 854x480 display.
For the price... Actually it's necessary if they put the NFC in...
It would be an automatic buy for me & maybe lots of people considering the price...
What is the lauch date os Mi A3??
Ritz 007, 28 Jul 2019I believe the Xiaomi Mi A3 should launch in India with upgraded features like: 1. Full HD res... moreThat is basically the Xiaomi CC9, if you want that get that but it will be more expensive.
