Xiaomi Smart wearables

Xiaomi is about to introduce its new flagship TWS earphones dubbed Mi Air 2 Pro and a big leak now lets us get a better idea of what to expect. A hands-on video, complemented by a detailed specs sheet paint the picture of another feature rich product in the booming market.

The video reveals the Mi Air 2 Pro will ditch the cotton-ball-in-ear design and will stick to a stem, sticking out of the ear canal. There will be rubber tips on the end and a touch-sentive surface on the outer side, enabling various gestures.

The case will have a flat bottom and top, which will make it easy to stay straight. The USB-C port is on the side, but this case will have some sort of wireless charging. They will also appear automatically on a Xiaomi phone, making the connectivity as effortless as possible.

The Mi Air 2 Pro will be a tad heavier than one AirPods Pro, but the difference is small enough so as not to matter. It will have a 12 mm driver, while the battery will offer up to 28 hours with ANC off or 20 hours audio when the ANC is turned on.

The big question is how much will the Mi Air 2 Pro cost - we expect to learn more on October 13 when Xiaomi is scheduled to have an event.
