Had this phone for 2 months. Bought it from AliExpress with International Version.
Installed with Google Play & other Google apps.
So far so good. My son like to play game alot @ heavy games like Modern Combat 5 / Mortal Combat etc. Very smooth phone and no lag at all.
The battery can last up to 1.5 to 2 days even for heavy user. If u are looking for super big screen phone with great performance u may not be wrong with this phone. Just go for it.
Unless it no so good with the camera & loudspeaker. Charging time also took some 2 to 3 hours with standard mi max charger. Should get fast charger for better charging time.
Overall Xiaomi had done great job with this phone.
Could anyone having Mi Max with Jio sim try the following and update:
Turn off your data and try to call and see if you are still able to call. Only then we can say it is supporting VoLTE (Otherwise it would mean that the VoLTE call are consuming data !).
it is beautifull and my dream mobile ...,i want it ..i will buy it ,,,.

Hi Guys, I'm planning to buy Xiaomi Max, but Mi India Twitter + Facebook as well their Community is full of complaints, Grievances. i dont wish to fall in this After-sale Trap. Is Xiaomi's Aftersales so pathetic as compared to other Chinese Brands??? Please share your thoughts on After Sales (not about Product).
In India we have only 3 GB RAM version only... Don't know when it will be launched with 4gb ..

Ashu, 04 Sep 20166.44 inch is too big size if you want to have a mobile phone and if you want a tab then its best. That's your opinion
sandy, 03 Sep 2016Xiaomi Max 4GB RAM its just awesome.Had my Mix Max 4gb/128gb/SD652 a few weeks and have got used to the size. Anything over 5.1 inches needs two hands so, for me, once you go 5.5-5.7 it handles the same as those.
Performance and daily usage is great. I've had the Mi5 and there's no day-to-day performance difference. The battery lasts forever - easily a two-day phone for me with dual SIMs in. Great FP scanner on the back and double tap to wake compliment each other well (no need to pick it up of a desk or fiddle when in a car mount). All in a metal build with a sweet IPS display.
If you consume media a lot, and read a lot, this is a great phone. Real Racing 3 runs smooth. The camera is OK, but not great. The price/value, however, is nothing short of excellent. Cost me $290 and nothing else comes close.
I've unlocked the bootloader, rooted, TWRPd, and put on a xisomi.eu MIUI 8 ROM with the leaked Nexus launcher @ 340 lcd density (stock 440 is way too big). Looks much better and runs buttery smooth. I'm surprised how quick MIUI is considering it's a heavy skin.
Anshad, 03 Sep 2016Frndzz.. I would like to purchase mi max. But one doubt . 6.44 inches is over big or comfortab... moreIt is very small for a tablet but very big for a phone.
But if you have big hands and don't mind others looking at you a bit strangely this is the perfect phablet.
